SUMMARY
Holy crap we suck!!! I don't get many responses about my text last week for practice and it showed...we drop down two divisions to division 6 and we stink the joint up...the rust really showed and all in all it was a f'n embarrassing night...that combined with the area we were shooting being way over crowded led to an annoying night...We started the night with me and Ted hitting back to back tons...but in our usual fashion we pull one of our infamous come from way ahead losses b/c nobody can hit the f'n outs...here is a quick summary of our lowlights...39 missed outs??? are you kidding me...disgusting...a 46.48 team average...a 1.40 team cricket average..31 in fines...no wonder we lost the night 5-10...i think everyone has to get refocused and come back next week ready to play...this week was horrid...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were at 31 this week...that ties the hightes amount of fines for this whole year with the very first week of the season...good for the kitty but obviously horrendous for our outcome...All I have to say is welcome back Ed...that's right his first week back in about 8 league weeks and Ed ties with Ted for the prestigious "Skippy Award"...Ed (4 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 2 missed outs and 1 squat in cricket) and Ted (4 under 20's, 1 missed out and 3 squats in cricket) both had 8 in fines...Jr (2 under 20's, 1 C-rule and 1 missed out) and Andy (2 under 20's, 1 missed out and 2 squats in cricket) both had 5 in fines...Matt had 1 under 20 and 2 C-rules for 3 in fines...Jeff had 1 missed out and 1 squat in cricket for 2 in fines...you boys might want to look into getting second jobs in order to pay these fines...or even a more noble notion...try picking up a dart once in a while and practicing...
this week we missed our goal of a 50 team average in a big way...this week we only had a 46.68 average...Ed didn't lose a step from when we last saw him posting up a measly 39.87 average...Ted (41.45) and Jr (42.73) round out the under 45 club...
as team we shot 40.29% of our shots under a 40...let's see what that means...so essentially in less than 2 rounds of the team shooting we have 3 shots over a 40 and 2 shots under a 40...that's not very good...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Jr led the mess with 62.50% of his shots under a 40...Ted (50.00%), Ed (40.91%) and Matt (34.78%) all shot more than 30% of their shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Ed (19.50), Jr (29.14), Ted (34.00), Matt (36.00) and Andy (38.00)...
On the bright side we didn't have anyone shoot into single digits...well unless you want to count the 2 times we were over 50 and busted on the out shots...
this week we only had 6 missed ins...way to keep it in the single digits...Jeff led the mess with 3 missed ins...Ed, Jr and Ted each had 1 missed in...Matt didn't even get a shot at an in...and Andy went 1-1 at the ins...
we had an unprecedented 39 missed outs this week...wow that may be a record...can't win games if you don't take them out...Ed and Andy each had 9 missed outs...Ted had 7 missed outs...Jr had 6 missed outs...Jeff and Matt each had 4 missed outs...ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Ted (0.80...I guess that's what 3 squat shots gets you)...Jr (1.00), Andy (1.17), Matt (1.40) and Ed (1.86)...
Ted had 3 0-mark cricket rounds...Ed, Jr and Ted each had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Jeff had 1 0-mark cricket round...Matt didn't have any 0-mark cricket rounds...
Andy and Ted had a 14.29% win rate...Ed had a 28.57% win rate...Jeff and Matt had a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we start the half by missing our goal of a 50 team average...this week only had a 46.68 team average...Jeff had the high average of the night with a 59.65...Andy rounds out the over 50 club with a 51.26 average...Matt just sneaks into the over 45 club with a 45.08 average...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (82.61% or 4 shots) and Andy (71.43% or 6 shots) were the only shooters to shoot over 70% of their shots over a 40...the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (43.00)...
this week we had 9 team tons...Jeff led the way with 5 tons...Ted had 2 tons...Ed and Jr each had 1 ton...Andy and Matt weren't "in the mood" to chuck triple digit shots...
Jeff had the high score of the night with a 140...
Ed, Jr and Ted each had 2 double ins...Andy and Jeff each had 1 double in...Matt didn't even get a shot at the ins...

what else can I say that already hasn't been said...no use beating a dead horse...Practice and focus...let's come back next week and get the second half rolling in our favor...next week we play away at Coach's...If you can't make it please remember to let me know as soon as you know so we can make sure we have 6 shooters...
