Darts 2012/2013 - 1st Half - Joey O's (away)

SUMMARY

Week 3 and we are playing at Joey O's...we found out that Matt is working on Thursday nights now...we also found out that Johnny will not be coming tonight...but don't worry we have Skippy to take up the slack...can't wait to see how this experiment works out.....well we jump out to a 3-1 lead...but then we lost 8 of the next 11 games...i don't know if it was worse to watch it unfold or be part of the mess that some of the people were calling dart shots...it would be an understatement to say i'm glad that week is behind us...we lost the week 6-9 which showcased some of the worst dart shooting i've seen in a while...let's look at how it all breaks down...

fines were actually lower than usual...BUT if i made it a fine for 25 and under rather than under 20 we would have collected about 23 more fines...never saw so many shots between 20-25 in one night...we can put it in perspective that we had 60 shots under a 40 last night....horrendous...

for the 3rd week in a row we don't hit a 50 team average...and this week we didn't have over a 45 team average...we have 2 people with under a 40 average...2 more people with under a 45 average...we are in division 3...we are not going to win very many games with averages like this...unacceptable....

as a team we are over 10% less than last week...having this average anywhere near 50% is really bad...2 shooters with a 33.33% of shots over a 40...holy crap that's about as bad of shooting as i've seen....that means 2 out of 3 rounds you shot less than a 40???  really???  really???  I can't even fathom how anyone can shoot that bad...that means you can't hit 2 fatties out of 3 darts....i think some people need to set up a "dart lounge"...now we're talking...

CONCLUSION

we actually started out pretty good jumping out to a 3-1 lead...Ed and Ted both had over a 2.0 cricket average but lost....after that we had 2 streaks of 3 losses in a row...not very good...we lose the night 6-9....

next week we play Little Lit at home...don't be afraid to pick up a dart before thursday...
