Darts 2014/2015 - 2nd Half - Kensington Pub (away)

SUMMARY

This week Hop is out so we are shooting with 6 shooters...we are playing away against Kensington Pub...last year we lost to them 6-9 both weeks...this week we fared a little bit better at 7-8 but still wasn't a very pretty week to watch...a lot of low scores...a bunch of C-rules...missed ins...missed outs...not even getting many shots at outs...not being able to hit what you are aiming at in cricket...all in all a pretty sloppy week...we have to have consistency week to week...game to game...round to round...remember hit the fatties...3 fatties is better than any of your averages...keep it simple...

Ed called it before the night started...this week we tripled our fine total from last week...and boy was this display of pathetic shooting hard to watch...Matt won the prestigious "Skippy award" with 6 in fines...

1 shooter in the 50's...and the 5 other shooters with a low game average less than 40....that's horrible...let's put things in perspective...you guys busted my chops that I wasn't pulling my weight...but my low game average (52.00) was higher than all your regular averages for the night...that just plain and simple should not happen...pick it up or you'll be sitting on the pine...

we go from 2 missed ins last week to 14 missed ins this week...the combined Ed, Jr and Ted went 0-9...Ed has to find a way to start hitting some ins...it's killing us spotting the other team points every week...

double digit missed outs for the 2nd week in a row...only 3 shooters took a game out...Ed and Jr had multiple outs...John, Jeff and Matt went a combined 0-5 at the outs...Matt and Jeff only got 1 shot at an out each...which means we aren't getting down to the outs quick enough...that's why everything ties together...gotta hit the ins ...gotta score good points...and gotta get chances to take the games out...

CONCLUSION

after a winning week last week we come back with a "stinker"...we lost 7-8 but we played much worse than that...I can't harp enough that we have to be more consistent...well after 2 weeks away next week we will be playing at home against Paddy Whacks...keeping a positive outlook we can see we are in 2nd place and only 1 game out of first...so let's get some good winning weeks and we can stay a top the leader board...
