| first off let's welcome Jim to the team....secondly let's welcome us to division 3...we are back for the 2nd half after a 6 week layoff....and boy did the rust show...we only had 2 shooters over a 50 average (and one of them was Ed with his contacts in...a little easier to score if you can see what you are aiming at???)...but we had 3 shooters under a 40 average...taking that all into account left us getting our butts handed to us 5-10....not a very good start to the season... |

after hitting our goal of a 50 team average for 7 weeks in a row we come out in division 3 and miss that goal this week...we only had a team average of 49.42...3 shooters under a 40 average certainly don't help the cause...

Jeff shot over 95% of his shots over a 40...that equates to 1 shot under a 40 all night and it was his very first shot of the night...everyone else was under 63%...that's not going to cut it in division 5 let alone division 3...remember in order to hit over a 40 you only need to hit 2 fatties of the number you are aiming at...doesn't sound so hard does it???

we knew going to division 3 would be tough...but I didn't see any magic coming from the team we played...what I saw was our team not performing to their potential...everyone has to relax and concentrate on their throw at the line and nothing else...if we don't want to get whipped every week we have to start coming out with some consistency...hopefully it's just the rust from not playing in the past 6 weeks...hopefully things will turn around next week...
