| after 5-6 months off we are back at it again...week 1 of the 1st half is upon us...and somehow we wind up with 10 people on our team for the first time in 15 years...WTF!!!!.....luckily only 8 showed up last night because i don't think that bar could have held 2 more people....I'm not going to dwell on the bar but shooting conditions were less than desireable...cramped conditions...cross winds...team couldn't sit together...lot of people weren't able to get into a good flow ...seemed like people were presssing too much....but might I digress...haha....we jump out to a nice 7-3 lead...only to lose 4 in a row....after 23 rounds of cricket we finally win the game and the night 8-7....we certainly left a lot of games out there...gotta start hitting the outs MUCH better....let's take a gander and see how the boys fared.... |

ok so week 1 is now officially in the books...and the good news is I can say we really didn't play half bad....the one area we need to focus on is hitting those doubles (both ins and outs)....we can't have come from ahead losses...it was nice to see us sweep in cricket....with 10 players on the roster Ed and Johnny are going to have a hard time keeping everyone happy and playing as many games as they might as like...so hopefully they subscribe to my "You Suck...You Sit" theory....haha....next week we play Bridesburg Pub...the other Hemmo's team beat them 10-5 this week....so let's come out ready to play and pile on the wins...
