| It's week #2 and we are away at Lumpy McGees...Andy is missing so we are shooting with 7...we played very well last night except in one area...MISSED OUTS...ughghgh...we jumped out to a 6-1 lead only to see that get chipped away at and we only finish the night 9-6....don't get me wrong...a win is a win...BUT...we left a lot of games on the table...and when you see the stats below we played very well in almost all categories...if you don't hit the outs you can't win the game...but other than that a great week...we finally have some depth this year and it's already showing...a few more weeks under our belt and we should be clicking on all cylinders... |

great week ...only 7 in fines....I think it's getting closer to having to increase the difficulty of these fines...single digit fines aren't going to help out our kitty at all...haha...I waiving the Skippy Award this week since we all shot very solid...so this week there is winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award"...

I'm bumping up our goal this year to a 55 team average....for the 2nd week in a row we hit that goal...this week we had a team average of 56.05...I shooter in the 70's...2 in the 60's...1 in the 50's...BUT...we still had 3 shooters in the 40's...gotta bump them up....need everyone over a 50 minimum...

Excellent job...as a team we shot over 75% of our shots over a 40...I told you it's not that hard...you only need 2 fat singles at your target to ensure this happens...1 shooter over 90%...1 shooter over 80%....1 shooter over 70%...and 4 shooters over 60%...

For the 2nd week in a row we had single digit missed ins....this week we only had 5 missed ins...great job...and we had 5 shooters actually hit an in shot...Johnny didn't have a shot at an out...awesome job of everyone doing their part...unfortunately the great in shooting didn't translate this week in the win column...we only won 2 out of 8 501 games...and the reason we will see below...ughghghgh...

Matt adds another 2 double outs this week...Jeff, George, John and Mike all contributed 1 out....Ed and Ted went a combined 0-5 at the outs...the thing that really hurts is we had 18 missed outs...that cost us A LOT of games last night...we need better focus at the doubles....

We started out very strong this week...but missed outs cost us a lot of games...gotta do better hitting those outs for the win...it was good to see a much more balanced attack...teams that I weren't on went 6-2...that's a real good job by you guys...let's do that consistently...and i'll stop sucking at the outs like I did this week...and we'll start putting up double digit wins...besides the missed outs this week overall we played very consistent...and that's all we can ask for this early in the season...I'm sure as a team we will keep getting better the more we play together...Next week we play Paddy Whacks at home...
