Darts 2017/2018 - 2nd Half - Polonia #6 (home)

week 4 of the second half and we are home against Polonia #6...Johnny is sick...Andy was grounded....Matt is a f'n stew bum that f'd us by not showing up....luckily George was able to show up (once again deepest condolances to you and your family)....so we went with 5 shooters...the other team captain was initially on the fence on what to do about the possibility of forfeits...luckily I'm a sweet talker and they let us shoot with 5 without any forfeits....

CONCLUSION

another winning week...we won 8-7....but likely should have won even more...observations from the night....Andy and Matt can't hold their alcohol and f'd us by not showing up...brutal...you are both very lucky we didn't have to forfeit any games....we didn't shoot very well last night...we had 26 in fines....everyone (except one shooter) had under a 50 average...less than 60% of our shots were over a 40...double digit missed ins...32 f'n missed outs...2 shooters with cricket average under a 2.0...the good news is we won the week 8-7....the bad news is I don't see many "Hungry Dogs" as my boy Jason Kelce put it so elloquently yesterday....seems like we are going through the motions because "everyone makes the playoffs in the 2nd half"....I think we gotta put a better effort forward...I know playing at Joey O's isn't our idea of fun....but we gotta suck it up and make the best of it....it looks like we are still in 3rd place....next week we play Brickhouse away.....let's try and get rolling next week...
