| We are back!!! Jr is under the weather...Matt is under a black jack table...so we go with 5...when I ask the other team what we can work out they said "well you beat us and got in the playoffs by 1 game so we are taking the last cricket game" and later on they asked that i only play my 7 games...so everyone else got 8 or more games last night...and jeez their arms must have been hurting ...don't know if i ever saw so many shots in the 20's in my life....the good news is the other team wasn't lighting the world on fire and we wound up winning the night 10-5...we start the night with a loss...then we run out 7 wins...then i guess pizza must have come and teddie got grease on his fingers and eddie disappeared to play his little video game...so we lose focus and only finish off winning 3 of the last 6....but all in all a good start to the half....fines were flying too....and even with double digit wins we only came out in 3rd place.... |

we had 19 team fines...12 under 20's...4 C-rules...3 missed outs...Jeff didn't have any fines...John had 2 fines....Ted had 4...Ed had 5....and Andy was the the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" with 8 fines....

22 of the past 24 weeks we had a team average over a 50....bu this certainly was not one of them...this week we shot a measly 47.69 team average....and if you exclude Jeff that drops to 42.24....not exactly great shooting by any standard...you're lucky we won double digits or I might dwell on this even more...haha....we had 3 shooters under a 45.50 average....and 1 shooter under a 40....

as a team we shot a f'n horrible 56.52% of our shots over a 40...excluding Jeff it would be around 49%....not very good...we had 1 shooter at 95%....2 shooters at 52% and 2 shooters under 50%.....the good news is we have a ton of room for improvement...

Let's start with the good...we won 10 games...and that is awesome....we only had 2 missed ins.....Jeff had 4 outs...Andy had 3 outs....Johnny had 1 out...we won 2 cricket games...all very good stuff....now onto the not so good stuff....excluding Jeff's average we only would have averaged around a 42...not good at all...everyone has to start pushing closer to a 50 average if we want to compete...excluding Jeff's % over 40 we would have been under 50% as a team...that is brutal....everyone has been playing for 10-20 years...it really shouldn't be that hard to hit 2 singles of what you are aiming at....3 single digit scores....12 under 20's...4 C-rules....that's a lot of areas we need to focus on to improve...let's build off this week and fix the things that need fixing and keep doing the things that helped us win double digit games...I mean Andy is on pace to have 30 double outs right now....haha....next week we play Polonia away...come ready to play....and if you didn't pay your ALL of you fines last night make sure you bring it before the next game....NO PAY...NO PLAY!!!!
