Darts 2007 - 2nd Half - Week 3 - Shore Road (home)

SUMMARY

a great week...played very nicely as a team and everyone contributed in one way or another...we went 11-4 and went 3-0 in cricket for the second week in a row...great job...we still had 12 missed outs but that's about 2x as good as last week...we had 11 missed ins too...we need to start concentrating on that double ring...I guess my smack talk to Jr last week worked....he posted a 58.43 average this week...20+ points better than last week...see now that wasn't too hard was it...keep it up...

THE LOW LIGHTS

"dolla bills" were under control this week...only 14 in fines...and in back to back weeks Teddy once again claims to be the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award"...with 5 in fines (3 under 20's and 2 missed ins)...Ed and Jr each contributed 3 in fines (led by 2 missed in fines each)...Johnny had 2 in fines for under 20's...and Jeff had 1 fine for squat shot in cricket...i hate when that f'n happens...Andy was fine king this week with 0 in fines...awesome job little man....

everyone had over a 45 average this week except Mr. Roccia....he had a measly 42.32 average...and wait didn't he start off with a 60 on his first throw...guess everything went downhill after that...

so my new favorite stat...the "under the covers" stat....if we look under the covers once again we see that everyone (except Jeff) had at least 1 game average under a 40....Ed (27.50), John (38.25), Jr (36.50), Andy (34.33), Ted (31.67)...you gotta focus every shot and every game...no wonder we get behind by 300 points in some games...oh yeah we did that again this week in the first game.....also if we look even closer we can see that 34.09% of our shots were under a 40...I think we have to strive for that percentage to be closer to 20-25%....let's see how that breaks down by player...now remember a higher percentage is BAD!!!!....Teddy (40.91%), John (40.91%), Ed (36.36%), Andy (36.36%), Jr (31.82%) and Jeff (18.18%)...let's work to get these under 25%.....or at a minimum under 33%...

There were 2 under 9's....Ed (9)....Johnny (9)...not very good...we had in total 8 under 20's again......that's really not very good...concentrate on the fat part of the number until you feel comfortable then try and pick the trips...

Still missing a lot of in shots....we had 11 missed ins again...Ed led the way with 4...Jeff, Jr and Ted had 2 each...Johnny had 1 missed in...and our favorite little anchor man Andy was a perfect 1 for 1....

Not too bad at the outs last night...but would still love to keep it under double digits...we had 12 missed outs...Ted led the way with 3 missed outs...and yes he keeps racking up the missed outs and still doesn't have any HIT outs....Jr had 1 missed out....and everyone else had 2 missed outs...

How the f' did this happen??? Jeff (1.80) was the only shooter under a 2.0 cricket average...that damn 18 gets me every time...I hate sucking in cricket...props out to Johnny for carrying my ass this week...

everyone finished the night over a 50% win rate....

THE HIGH LIGHTS

I love when we have a team average over 50...great job...we had a team average of 50.86....Jeff got back on track for shooting over a 60 average (61.33)....Jr finally decided to show up and tore it up with a 58.43 average...nice comeback from your lackluster play the first two weeks of this half...Andy (48.93), Johnny (47.20) and Ted (46.97) round out the over 45 club...love those high averages...keep up the good work...

We were ton'ing it up last night...we had 13 total tons...Jeff led the way with 5 (and that includes the game where I had 3 in one game)....Jr shot a very solid 3 tons...and Ted had 2 tons...Ed, Johnny and Andy each had 1 ton...love when everyone shoots tons...Jr and Ted each banged out a 140...a 7 banger in the 20's ...good stuff....

Jeff, Ted and Ed led the way with 2 double ins each...Johnny and Andy each had 1 double in....Jr went 0 for 2 at in shots...good job distributing the in shots...Jeff and Ed as the first guy to shoot you have to make it automatic getting on....no excuses....

Jeff, Jr and Johnny led the way with 2 double outs....Ed and Andy each had 1 double out....Ted has yet to break his cherry on outs this half...how bout helping out the "B" team Teddy...

As a team we shot a very impressive 2.40 cricket average...Everyone (except my lame ass) shot over a 2.0 average this week....but i want to give mad props to Andy with a 3.0 average...he started cricket with back to back 5 mark rounds...now that's what i'm talking about...do that every week Curran....Ed (2.80), Johnny (2.40), Jr (2.17), and Ted (2.25) rounded out the scores over 2.0...and in back to back weeks we won all 3 cricket games...loving winning cricket...

Johnny led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Jr, Andy, Jeff and Teddy each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ed had 1 >=3-mark round but made it count by banging out a 7 mark round....

Jeff, Johnny and Andy led the night with a 85.71% win rate....Ed, Jr and Ted each had a 57.14% win rate....good job...love double digit win nights...

CONCLUSION

Back to back weeks with double digit wins...great job...a nice team win tonight...everyone seemed to do something to help out the cause...that's the way it should be...great job in cricket for the 2nd week in a row too...still could do better on the ins and outs...but a fairly solid week this week....

We play away next week against Tom's Sportsman....let's whip them up....keep up the good work guys...don't let my being nice and kind in the commentary soften you boys up...I'll come back with a vengeance if you start sucking it up again...GOT IT???? until next week my peeps....stay warm...ha.....
