SUMMARY
a great start to the new season...we went a very impressive 12-3 against Grants...and talk about some overall good shooting by the team...let's start with the team average of 55.47....then we had 5 people with an out and 2 with multiple outs...very nice week...if we shoot like this continuously we'll be unstoppable...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying in the first week with 26 in fines...Teddy stood out once again with 6 in fines to claim the prestigious "Skippy Award" ....Under 20's were in abundance last night with the following suspects: Ted (3), Andy (3), Jr (2), Ed (2), Johnny (1)...we collected 9 in fines for missed ins...gotta do better than that....Ted and Johnny both chucked a dreaded C-Rule...we also had money for missed outs by Ed, Jr and Ted...and out of character I actually had a squat shot at cricket...
Ed (44.07) and Andy (43.06) were our 2 shooters under a 45 average this week...
so my new favorite stat...the "under the covers" stat....if we look under the covers once again we see that everyone (except Jeff) had at least 1 game average under a 40....and this week we had only 1 player with at least 1 game in the 20's....Ed (28.50)....The other under 40's were....Ed (28.50), Johnny (35.00), Jr (38.67), Andy (31.33), and Ted (31.25)....We gotta start focusing on averaging over a 40 each game at a minimum...and we can't be throwing games in the 20's at all...also if we look even closer we can see that 29.75% of our shots were under a 40...now we are looking good....I said we should be in the 20's and we finally did it...great job....we had a mix of THE GOOD...Jeff (19.05%), Ted (19.05%)....THE DECENT...Jr (28.57%), Johnny (35.002%), Ed (36.84%)...and the "UGLY"...Andy (42.11%)....for the most part that's some nice consistent shooting....
we had 3 under 9's this week...Ted with 2 and Ed with 1....let's stop the under 9's...they can hurt us...
back into double digits at missed ins....we need to do better....we had 13 missed ins....Ed led the way with 4...Jeff missed 3....Andy and Johnny missed 2 each....and Ted and Jr missed 1 each...lets focus on those in shots...a lot of times it can seperate a win from a loss...
Still had a bunch of missed outs (17)...but on the bright side 12 of those were in one game...and we actually won it....so that leaves 5 missed outs....which is great....Ed and Ted led the way with 5 missed outs...Jr had 4 missed outs....and Jeff, Johnny and Andy each had 1 missed out...that's good shooting at the outs if we exclude the one game....
We had 3 shooters under a 2.0 average last night...Ted (1.29), Andy (1.43) and Jr (1.50)....need to get those cricket scores up...
Everyone finished the night over at a 50% win rate or better....love the wins....and Ed and Ted finished with a perfect 100% win rate...awesome job...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
a great start for the first week...we banged out a great team average of 55.47....Jeff led the way with a very impressive 73.52 average...Jr shot an incredible 61.80 average and Teddy hit an unheard of 59.28 average...Johnny finished the over 50 club with a 51.07 average....and Ed rounds out the over 45 club with a 45.26....awesome scores guys...do that consistently and I'll be very happy....
holy tons batman...we had 16 tons last night...Jeff led the way with a staggering 7 tons... And "ton teddy" banged out an incredible 5 tons...Johnny and Jr round out the tons with 2 each....love those tons guys...
we were 37.04% in double ins last night...Jeff and Jr led the way with 3 each...Ed and Johnny each had 1 double in....we had 2 bad starts to games that accounted for 11 of the 17 missed ins...but other than that we did a good job with the ins...
Talk about banging some outs...where did this guy come from...there is a new leader in the clubhouse...Ed starts the first week with 4 double outs....very impressive....Johnny is right on his heels with 3 double outs...a very good showing...Jr, Jeff and Ted each had 1 out...good job spreading around the outs....
we shot a team cricket average of 1.79...Jeff led the way with a 2.33, Johnny had a 2.17 and Ed had a 2.0 to round out the over 2.0 club...
Ed and Jeff led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Everyone else had 1 >=3-mark rounds....Ed had a nice 5-mark round...
Ed and Ted led the night with perfect 100.00% win rate...Jr had an 85.71% win rate, Jeff and Johnny had a 71.43% win rate...and Andy finished the night with a 57.14% win rate...keep those wins coming....

CONCLUSION
a great way to start the season...everyone was having fun and seemed focused...now let's continue the trend and win a jacket this year....next week we play in the hood...
