SUMMARY
we finish the regular season in division 4 in 3rd place...we take the 20 mile pilgrimage to Roxborough to play CJ & Ecks in the semi-final round of the playoffs...well it took all 15 games but with Teddy banging out 2 corks in the last game of cricket we advance to the 1st half finals to play Prince Cafe...we certainly didn't play our best but 8 wins is good enough to move one...we had a team average of 44.82 with only 2 shooters over a 45...we shot 45% of our shots under a 40...we had 5 under 9's...and 12 under 20's...we had 26 missed outs...only a 1.80 team cricket average with only 1 shooter over a 2.0...4 0-mark rounds in cricket....26 in fines...not exactly our best stat sheet....on the bright side we only had 8 missed ins....and...well there has to be another good stat....i guess the only other good one was that WE WON!!!!...
THE LOW LIGHTS
it must have been the playoffs...."dolla bills" were flying high....we had 26 in total fines...Ted led the way and captured the playoff prestigious "Skippy Award"....he had 7 in fines...and he sprayed them around in all categories...Ted had 1 under 20, 1 C-rule, 2 missed ins, 2 missed outs and 1 squat in cricket....Ed and Jr were right on his heals with 6 in fines each...they both had 2 under 20's, 2 missed ins and 2 missed outs...Andy had 3 in fines...1 for under 20 and 2 C-rules...Bill had 2 in fines...1 for under 20 and 1 for a C-rule...Johnny had 1 under 20 and Jeff had 1 under 20....which just happened to be his only single digit shot of the year...and yes it was a very skippy like 3...all i can say is it good grouping???
did Skippy show up last night? oh wait that was Bill who posted that 29.42 average...Andy (42.34), Ed (42.67), Jr (44.11), Johnny (44.93) all ended the night with less than a 45 average....way to step it up in the playoffs...haha...
are you f'n kidding me...as a team we had a horrendously high 45.00% of our shots under a 40...Bill led the way with 83.33% of his shots under a 40...that translates into 1 shot over a 40...and if we look under the covers once again we see that these other culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Andy (57.89%), Jr (54.17%), Ed (50.00%), Ted (47.37%)....and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...oh wait don't let me spoil the surprise but everyone's name is on this list...ughghgh...Bill (15.33), Ed (23.00), Andy (26.25), Ted (31.67), Jeff (35.00), Jr (37.00), John (39.75)...
We had 5 under 9's this week....Ed (8,9), Jeff (3), Jr (9) and Andy (9)...oh yeah let me mention it again...I had a 3...I stink....
For the third week in a row we kept the missed ins to single digits...we had only 8 missed ins...Ed had 4 missed ins...Jr had 2 missed ins, Ted had 2 missed ins (which cost their team 2 in fines each)...
We had a disgusting 26 missed outs...Jr and Ted led the way with 6 missed outs each...Ed had 5 missed outs...Andy and Jeff had 3 missed outs each...Johnny had 2 missed outs and Bill had 1 missed out...
Johnny posts the lowest cricket average...this week Johnny averaged an uncharacteristically low 1.00 average...Jr (1.25), Andy (1.43) , Ed (1.78) and Ted (1.88) round out the under 2.0 cricket club...
Ed had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Jr and Ted had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Ed and Jr finished the night with only a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we only had a team average of 44.82...Jeff had the highest average of the night with a 52.39...Ted had a 47.68 average to round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Nobody averaged over a 40 in every game...Jeff (79.17% or 5 shots) and Johnny (66.67% or 8 shots) were the only shooters to have over 70% (I let Johnny slide) of their shots over a 40...
this week we had 9 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons each...Ed, Johnny, Jr, Andy and Ted each had 1 ton...Bill wasn't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Ted had the high score of the night with a 120...Jr (116), Andy (114) and Jeff (108) had other higher scores...
Jeff (4 @ 100.00%) led the way with double ins this week...Ed (2 @ 33.33%) and Jr (2 @ 50.00%) had the other double ins...Andy, Johnny and Bill didn't even get a shot at an in...
Johnny and Ted led the way with 2 double outs each...Jr and Jeff had 1 double out each...
Jeff led the way with a 3.40 cricket average and was the only shooter above a 2.0 cricket average this week...good job ME...and the rest of you sucky sucky...
Jeff led the way with 3 @ 60.00% >=3-mark rounds...Ed had 3 @ 33.33% >= 3-mark rounds...Ted posted 2 @ 25.00% >=3-mark rounds...

501-5 -- 4 more missed ins...Jr gets in...Jr hits an 11...another loss....
501-6 -- Jeff gets in...and the next round hits a 3...did you hear me??? a f'n 3...man now i know what it feels like to sucky sucky....Andy hits a 9...but that's no stretch for him....yup another loss...we're now all tied up at 5-5...
501-7 -- Ed gets in...follows that up the next round with a 9....only 2 of 10 shots over a 45....now we're down 5-6....
501-8 -- Jeff hits his 4th straight in shot of the night...4 missed outs and Jeff takes the out....after '01 we are all knotted up at 6-6...
Cricket-1 -- Jeff shoots 5, 5, 3, 2, 2...Johnny shoots 1, 1, 1, 1, 1...can anyone guess what Johnny's average was??? At least we won...now we are up 7-6....
Cricket-2 -- we only need one more win to win the night...so we switch things up and throw out Ed and Jr....Ed shoots 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 0, 0, 1....Jr shoots 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 0...only 2 marks at cork in 5 rounds...now we're tied at 7-7...
Cricket-3 -- The 15th game of the semi-finals comes down to Ted and Andy...oh no...at least they aren't shooting against a chic this year...Ted shoots 2, 3, 5, 0, 1, 1, 1, 2....Andy shoots 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1...and with Teddy's 2 corks we can all sit back and rejoice...we win the semi-final game 8-7....

CONCLUSION
A very less than average week but with the result we needed...a win...don't want to dwell on what was already said...this Thursday we play for the 1st half finals against Prince Cafe...during our 2 meetings we lost 5-10 in the first week of the season and we won 9-6 during our 2nd meeting...let's show up and have fun and have the darts fall where they may...good luck to everyone...

You give me credit for 66% of my shots for the over 70% thing but no love for every game being over a 40 when my lowest average was 39.75???
