SUMMARY
the last week of the season we played Coach's away...5 wins would have won us 4th place...we needed deep double digit wins to come in 2nd place...anything in between and we wind up in 3rd place...we ended the night 10-5 and CJ & Ecks finished their night 13-2 so that means we end the 1st half in 3rd place and will be taking the 20 mile journey to the hills of Roxborough/Manayunk to play CJ & Ecks in the playoffs...we started the night out strong winning the first 4 801 games...we finished the night with a 50.16 team average...we had 7 team tons and 5 people had a double out...cricket was a whole other story...a very low 1.54 team cricket average with only 1 shooter (Andy) over a 2.0 average...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were at their lowest since week 1...we had 9 in total fines...a vast improvement from prior weeks...and lets not that 5 of them were squats at cricket...which leaves us with 4 under 20's for the night...pretty consistent shooting except for cricket which was way worse than normal...Ted and Ed had 3 in fines each and tied for the last weeks prestigious "Skippy Award"....Ed had 1 under 20 and 2 squats at cricket...Ted had 3 under 20's...Jr, Jeff and Bill each owed 1 for squat at cricket...Johnny and Andy went fine free...
Bill posted the lowest average of the night at a measly 38.07...Ted was close behind with a 40.88...
as a team we had only 30.83% of our shots under a 40...if we look under the covers once again we see that the following culprits had at least 1 game average under a 40...Ted (25.75), Jr (27.67), Bill (33.00) and Johnny (39.00)...the following shooters had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Bill (50.00%), Ted (42.11%), Jr (40.91%) and Ed (38.10%)...
Nobody shot in the single digits this week...
For the second week in a row we kept the missed ins to single digits...we had only 6 missed ins...Ed and Jr each had 2 missed ins...Jeff and Bill each had 1 missed in...Johnny and Ted went a perfect 1 for 1 at the ins and Andy didn't even get a shot at an in...
We had 14 missed outs this week...Johnny led with 4 missed outs...Andy and Jeff had 2 missed outs each...Jr and Ted had 2 missed outs...Ed hit a perfect 2 for 2 on double outs...and Bill didn't get a shot at an out...
Ed posts the lowest cricket average...this week Ed only averaged a 1.14 cricket average...Jr (1.29), Bill (1.43), Johnny (1.50) and Jeff (1.78) had averages under a 2.0...not very good having 5 of 6 shooters under a 2.0 average...no big surprise that we only won 1 cricket game...
Jr had 3 0-mark rounds in cricket...Ed had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Johnny, Andy, Jeff and Bill each had 1 0-mark cricket round...that's 9 rounds with 0-marks...not very good...
Bill finished the night with only a 25% win rate...Jr had only a 42.86% win rate to round up the under 50% win rate shooters...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a team average of 50.16...Jeff had the highest average of the night with a 57.98...Ed (55.68), Andy (53.32) and Johnny (52.32) round out the over 50 club...Jr had a 46.69 average to round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (50.00), Ed (41.67) and Andy (40.67) were the only shooters to average over a 40 in every game...Jeff (90.91% or 3 shots), Andy (81.25% or 3 shots) and Johnny (76.19% or 5 shots) were the only shooters to have over 70% of their shots over a 40...
this week we had 7 team tons...Ed, John and Jr led the way with 2 tons each...Jeff had 1 ton...Andy, Ted and Bill weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Ed had the high score of the night (for the 2nd week in a row)...this week with a 135...good job Ed...

CONCLUSION
Actually a fairly solid week this week...we only had 9 in fines and more than half were in squats at cricket...hopefully the cricket mess we had this week was a fluke...we had a decent team average of 50.16 with 4 shooters over a 50...we had single digit missed ins...5 shooters had double outs...Jeff and Johnny went a perfect 7-0...on the not so good side...only 1 shooter over a 2.0 in cricket...double digit missed outs...only 7 tons...let's focus every dart of every round...
Well the first half regular season is over...and unlucky for us we have to play away in the first round of the playoffs against CJ & Ecks...it's just a hike to get there and the bar is not level...but other than that we just have to go there and win 8 games...which should be possible...most people didn't shoot well the first time we played there...maybe now that we know what to expect we can put that to use and go in there and win...
