SUMMARY
welcome back to another fun filled, action packed season of stewing it up...we started the 1st half of the season and as expected there was a lot of rust that needs to be worked out...they changed the order in which we played games which had the lineup a little messed up...we'll have to work the kinks out...but the make it take it may hang around for another week...we'll let's see how the boys made out last night...
THE LOW LIGHTS
for the first night of the first half we didn't do horrible with the "dolla bills"...we had 18 in total fines...and the first winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" is the little loud guy Andy...Andy had 5 in fines...2 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 1 missed in and 1 squat in cricket...Ed was on his heels with 4 in fines...Ed had 2 under 20's and 2 missed ins...Jr had 2 under 20's and 1 missed in...Johnny had 1 missed in and 1 missed out...Ted had 1 under 20 and 1 missed out...Bill had 1 missed out....Jeff had 1 fine for a missed in...
The boobie twins were the 2 shooters whose average fell under a 45 average this week...Jr had a 29.20 and Andy had a 44.12...
as a team we shot 40.00% of our shots under a 40...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40......Jr led the mess with 64.29% of his shots under a 40...Ed (56.00%), Andy (47.06%) and Bill (43.75%) all had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Jr (24.67), John (30.00), Andy (32.00), Ed (33.17), Bill (37.00)...
We had 0 under 9's this week...nice job...
this week we had 12 missed ins which isn't bad for week 1...imagine if I could hit a stinking double...Jeff had 4 missed ins...Ed had 3 missed ins...Johnny and Jr had 2 missed ins each...Andy had 1 missed in...Bill was a perfect 2 for 2...and Ted was a perfect 1 for 1...
We had 17 missed outs...Ted led the mess with 6 missed out...Bill had 5 missed outs...Johnny had 3 missed outs...Ed, Jr and Andy each had 1 missed out...Jeff was a perfect 1 for 1 at the outs...
Ed posts the lowest cricket average of 1.14...Andy was on his tail with a 1.20 cricket average...Johnny rounds out the under 2.0 club with only a 1.60 average...
Andy had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...
Ed finished the night with only a 28.57% win rate...Andy only had a 33.33% win rate...Jr had a 40.00% win rate and Ted had a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we missed our goal of over a 50 team average...as a team we came in with a 49.71 average...Johnny had the highest average of the night with a 60.97...Jeff (58.40) and Ted (51.14) had over a 50 average...Bill (47.43) and Ed (45.21) round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff's lowest average was 42.00 and Ted's lowest average was 40.50...Johnny (82.35% or 3 shots), Jeff (80.00% or 4 shots) and Ted (66.67% or 7 shots) were the shooters to have over 70% (let Ted slide with 66.67%) of their shots over a 40...
this week we had 4 team tons...Jeff led the way with 2 tons...Johnny and Ted had 1 ton each...Ed, Jr, Andy and Bill weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Johnny had the high score of the night with a 114...
Bill (2 @ 100%) and Ted (1 @ 100%) led the way with double ins this week...Johnny and Jr each had 2 double ins...Ed and Ted each had 1 double in...Jeff went 0-4 and Andy went 0-1...
Everyone (except Jr) had 1 double out each...
Finally we found a game Jr can shoot...Jr led the way with a very nice 3.20 cricket average...Jeff shot a 2.67 and Ted shot a 2.33 cricket average...
Jr led the way with 5 @ 100% >=3-mark rounds...Jeff was close behind with 4 @ 66.67%...Ted had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Johnny and Andy each had 1 >=3-mark rounds....
Jeff and Johnny led the way with a 66.67% win rate...Bill had a 60% win rate...

Cricket-2 -- another cricket sprinkled in between 501...fun fun....Jeff shoots 3, 4, 4, 3, 1, 1...Johnny shoots 3, 1, 2, 1, 1...that's good enough for the win...
501-5 -- Johnny hits a nice 77 in...9 missed outs...then finally Ted hits the double one for the win...
501-6 -- Jeff and Jr miss the in...Ed gets in...Jeff takes the game out...
501-7 -- Johnny misses the in...Ted gets in...Ted hits a 15...Johnny hits trip 19, trip 19 and misses wide on the double 15...a 114 was nice...but a 144 double out would have been huge...great effort though Johnny...fortunately Bill takes the game out for the win...
501-8 -- 4 missed ins...Jr gets in...another loss....
Cricket-3 -- Jr shoots a nice cricket game with a >=3 mark round every round...Jr shoots 3, 3, 3, 4, 3...Andy on the other hand didn't fare as well...Andy shoots 3, 0, 1, 0, 2....we end the night with back to back losses and finish 7-8...

Jr did a bunch of whining and bitching about not playing enough...even though he did play 6 games...but with a 39.20 average and 64.29% of his shots under a 40 that should have been cut in half...no more bitching esp when you're sucking...thank god you can shoot cricket...

CONCLUSION
Not a very solid week...we looked very rusty at times...we have to start doing a better at the double ring...but on the bright side we were down 1-5 at one point in the night and we rallied back to 7-8...Also everyone (except Jr) had a double out...way to spread it around...we did have a team average of over 2.0...but that was helped by Jr's 3.20 and Jeff's 2.67 and Ted's 2.33 averages...we can't have 1/2 our shooters under a 2.0 average...look on the bright side...we can only get better...next week we are home against Tom's Pub...try and throw some darts between now and then...
