SUMMARY
Week 9 was a doosie....we played Currans and racked up the second highest total of fines in recorded fine history...more about that below...we had a low team average...2 losses in cricket...on the good side everyone had at least 1 out...plus we won the night 8-7...so go figure...haha...
THE LOW LIGHTS
it's raining "dolla bills"...are you kidding me??? 35 in fines...that's the second highest fines for a week....Andy owed 9 fines for the second week in a row to once again collect the "Prestigious Skippy Award"...Andy had 1 C-rule, 6 missed ins and 2 squats in cricket....Johnny and Jeff each had 7 in fines...Johnny had 1 C-rule and 6 missed ins...Jeff had 1 under 20 and 6 missed ins...Ted owed 6 in fines (3 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 1 missed out and 1 squat in cricket)...Jr owed 5 in fines (4 under 20's and 1 missed out)...Ed only owed 1 for a missed out...now lets recap...18 missed ins...8 under 20's...3 C-rules, 3 Missed outs and 3 squats in cricket....i guess if we are going to have a high fine week we might as well spread it around...ughghghgh....pretty pathetic all around (except Ed who somehow didn't contribute very much to the fine fest)....
this week we missed our goal again of shooting a 50 team average by only throwing up a 48.45...Ted missed the 45 mark by shooting only a 44.38...
as team we shot 40.77% of our shots under a 40...but if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Jr (52.00%), Ed (48.00%), Ted (47.83%), Johnny (44.44%)... all missed the mark by shooting more than 30% of their shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Ed (28.00), Johnny (31.00), Ted (32.50), Jr (34.75), Jeff (37.33)....
Jeff shot a 9 for the low score of the night for his 2nd week in a row with a single digit score...I stink...
last week we had 4 missed ins...somehow we forgot how to do that...this week we had a disgusting 26 missed ins...Johnny and Andy led the mess with 8 missed ins each...Jeff had 7 missed ins....Ed had 2 missed ins...Jr had 1 missed in....Ted was a perfect 1 for 1 at the ins...
this week we had 15 missed outs...Ed, Jr and Ted each had 4 missed outs...Johnny had 2 missed outs...Andy had 1 missed out....Jeff was a perfect 1 for 1 at the outs...
Ted had the lowest cricket average of the night with a 1.00....Andy (1.10) and Johnny (1.57) round out the under 2.0 club...
Andy had 3 0-mark rounds...Jeff had 2 0-mark rounds...Jr, Jr and Ted each had 1 0-mark round...and in a remarkable change of events Ed didn't have any...
Jeff and Johnny each had a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week our team average was a measly 48.45....Jeff led the way with a 59.00 average...Andy (50.16) rounds out the over 50 club...Ed (47.56) and Jr (45.07) round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40...Andy led the way with 77.78% (or 4 shots) of his shots over a 40...Jeff (76.19% or 5 shots) also shot more than 70% of his shots over a 40...Andy (41.40) was the only shooter to average over a 40 every game...
this week we had 6 team tons...Jeff and Ted led the way with 2 tons each...Jr and Andy each had 1 ton...Ed and Johnny weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Jeff had the high score of the night with a 140...Ted shot a 132 and Jr shot a 125...
Jeff had 4 ins (36.36%)...Ed had 2 ins...Jr and Ted had 1 in each...Johnny and Andy both went 0-8...that's not very good...
Jr led the way with 2 double outs...Ed, Johnny, Andy, Jeff and Ted each had 1 double out...good job spreading it out...
Ed led the way with a 2.80 cricket average...Jeff (2.75) and Jr (2.30) round out the over 2.0 club...
Jeff (5@ 62.50%) and Jr (5 @ 50.00%) led the way with 5 >=3-mark rounds...Ed and Johnny each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Andy had 1 >=3-mark rounds each...Ted wasn't in the mood to throw any >=3-mark rounds....

CONCLUSION
who knows how the heck we won this week...we had 26 missed ins (mostly from the "A" team)....4 shooters with averages in the 40's....15 missed outs...3 shooters with under a 1.60 cricket average...but must be the luck of only 6 shooters as we win the night 8-7....next week is the last regular season week...we play Post Office (who is currently in 1st place) away....
