SUMMARY
Week 4 was a bust...another losing week and we lost bad...we lost 4-11...not very good...as of week 4 we are now in last place and 15 games out of 1st...not exactly a good start to things...oh well maybe we'll drop a few divisions next half and have a chance to win it...either way we still need to elevate our game...way too lackluster for my liking...a little less megatouch and a little more concentration at the line would go a long way....
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were at 15 this week...this week the boobie twins tie for the prestigious "Skippy Award"...Jr had 4 in fines for 2 under 20's and 2 squats in cricket....his partner in crime Andy also had 4 in fines for 3 under 20's and 1 C-rule...Matt had 3 in fines for 3 C-rules...try keeping the darts on the board...Ed had 2 in fines for 2 under 20's...Johnny had 1 fine for a C-rule...Jeff had 1 fine for a very untimely squat in cricket...and Ted was fine free...let's take a look at this from a different angle....7 under 20's, 5 C-rules and 3 squats in cricket...are you kidding me...low scores and missing the board will never help the win column...hit what you are aiming for...
this week we missed out goal of a 50 team average by a lot...we only had a 46.41 team average...not very good by any measure...Andy should have stayed home and baby sat because we could have put a cardboard cutout up there to average more than his measly 36.22...Matt wasn't far behind with his 39.76...under 40 averages are really not very acceptable....Ed (42.40) and Jr (43.50) round out the under 45 club...
as team we shot 38.76% of our shots under a 40...that is horrendous especially considering last week we were at 26.50%...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40......Andy had 57.89% of his shots under a 40...really??? really??? with stats like that you might want to start splashing instead....Matt had 52.38% of his shots under a 40...Jr had 44.44% of his shots under a 40...Ted had 40.00% of his shots under a 40...Ed just missed the mark with 33.33% of his shots under a 40....and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Andy (21.75), Ed (24.67), Matt (29.67), John (35.50) and Ted (35.50)...
Ed, Jr and Andy all shot a 9...3 single digit scores in one night...I'm seeing a crap pattern...
this week we only had 4 missed ins...that's actually very good...unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of it....Ed, John, Jr and Ted each had 1 missed in...Jeff was a perfect 3 for 3....Andy and Matt were each a perfect 1 for 1....
this week we had 5 missed outs...that's very good...but the real underlying issue was we didn't get down to the out shots very often....Johnny and Andy heach had 2 missed outs...Jr had 1 missed out...
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Jr (0.75), Ed (1.50), Andy (1.75) and Ted (1.86)....hard to win cricket games averaging less than 2.0...
Jr and Ted each had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Ed and Jeff each had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Ed, Jr, Ted and Matt each only had a 16.67% win rate...Andy had a 33.33% win rate...not very many wins going on here...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a huge let down from last week...last week our team average was a very impressive 57.26 and this week it was only a 46.41...Jeff led the way with a 63.93 average...Ted had a 53.92 average to round out the over 50 club....Johnny had a 46.49 average to round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (85.00% or 3 shots) and Johnny (72.22% or 5 shots) were the only shooters to shoot over 70% of their shots over a 40...Jeff (54.17) was the only shooter to average over a 40 every game...and if we look at this from a different angle...my low game of the night was higher than everyone's average...all I want to point out is this game is not very hard if you focus and worry more about the darts than the mega touch...if this keeps up we might have to ban "boobies"...
this week we had 9 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Ed, Jr, Andy, Ted and Matt each had 1 ton...Johnny after his patch week wasn't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Jeff had the high score of the night with 133 at the 19's...Ed had a 106....
Jeff was a perfect 3 for 3 at the double ins...Ed had 2 double ins....Andy and Matt were a perfect 1 for 1 at the double ins...Johnny had 1 double in...JR and Ted were 0-1 at the double ins...
Johnny, Jr, Jeff and Ted each had 1 double out...
Johnny led the way with a 2.40 cricket average...Jeff had a 2.33 cricket average to round out the over 2.0 club...
Jeff (2 @ 33.33%) and Ted (2 @ 28.57%) led the way with 2 >=3-mark rounds each...Ed and John each had 1 >=3-mark round....Johnny made his count with a very nice 7-mark round...

CONCLUSION
a very disappointing week...not much worth talking about...we need to take our time and focus on our shots...we make this game way harder than it needs to be...and don't forget it's not against the rules to actually pick up a dart between weeks....next week we play at home against Post Office Cafe...remember everyone has to make it since Ed will not be making it...
