SUMMARY
Week 9 and we get whipped....we played Tom's Pub and lost 4-11...another week where missed outs cost us a lot of games...we had 22 missed outs....that's way too many...especially on a night where we had a 56.12 team average and a 2.04 team cricket average...oh well I guess division 6 here we come...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were at 14 this week...the winner of this weeks prestigious "Skippy Award" was Matt...Matt had 2 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 1 missed in and 1 squat in cricket...and in theory it could have been 3 more because he hit a 19 and 3 bucks which was ruled as no fines b/c I put him in when he didn't have a chance to practice...get there on time and you have plenty of time to practice...right???...anyone with me??? Jr (2 under 20's and1 C-rule) had 3 in fines...Andy (1 C-rule and 1 missed in) and Ted (1 missed in and 1 missed out) both had 2 in fines....Johnny and Jeff both had 1 fine each for a missed out...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average...we had a very impressive 56.12 average...the only shooter below a 45 average was Andy with a 43.69....
as team we shot 35.25% of our shots under a 40...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Johnny had over a 50 average and somehow did it with 52.17% of his shots under a 40....Andy had 47.37% of his shots under a 40...Jr and Matt both had 36.36% of their shots under a 40....Ted had 35.29% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Andy (25.00), John (32.67), Matt (33.33), Jr (34.00) and Ted (35.50)...
Jr shot a 7 for the only single digit score of the night...
this week we only had 8 missed ins....Jr, Andy and Ted each had 2 missed ins....Jeff and Matt each had 1 missed in...Johnny was a perfect 1 for 1 at the ins...
for the 2nd week in a row we had 22 missed outs...and we wonder why we went 10-20 over the last 2 weeks....Ted had 7 missed outs...Jeff had 6 missed outs...Andy had 4 missed outs...Johnny and Jr each had 2 missed outs...Matt had 1 missed outs...totally horrible....
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Jr (1.38), Ted (1.75) and Andy (1.83)...
Jr, Andy, Jeff, Ted and Matt each had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Johnny and Ted only had a 14.29% win rate...Jeff and Matt only had a 28.57% win rate...Jr and Andy only had a 42.86% win rate...not very good....
THE HIGH LIGHTS
for the 2nd week in a row we crushed our goal of a 50 team average...this week we had a very impressive 56.12 team average...Jeff had the highest average of the night with an extremely high 79.07 average...Jr finally got back to a good average with a 57.50....Matt (53.22), Ted (52.04) and Johnny (51.17) all shot over a 50 average...nice scores again this week guys...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (100.00% or 0 shots) had every round over a 40 average...not sure if that was ever done before...good job me....the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (47.67)...
this week we had 12 team tons...for the 2nd week in a row Jeff had 7 tons...Johnny had 2 tons...Jr, Andy and Matt each had 1 ton....Ted wasn't "in the mood" to chuck triple digit shots...
Jeff and Jr had the high score of the night with a 140...Jeff actually had 3 140's....Johnny threw a 133 and a 104...
Jeff (3 @ 75.00%) and Andy (3 @ 60.00%) led the way with 3 double ins each...Johnny was 1 for 1 at the ins...Matt also had 1 double in...Jr and Ted were both 0-2 at the ins...
John, Andy, Ted and Matt each had 1 double out...nice to see them spread around...but 4 double outs only means there were 8 games without an out...that's a lot of losses...Jr was 0-2 and Jeff was an unprecedented 0-6 at the outs...I stink...
Jeff (2.17), Johnny (2.14) and Matt (2.00) all had averages over 2.0 in cricket...unfortunately we couldn't capture any cricket wins...
Matt had 3 >=3-mark rounds...Johnny and Ted each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Jr, Andy and Jeff had 1 >=3-mark rounds...
nobody had over a 50% win rate...we still stink...

CONCLUSION
another very bad week in the win column...we seem to be doing a lot of things better except hitting the double outs....can't win games without hitting the outs...on the bright side we had a team average of 56.12...double digit tons...over a 2.0 team cricket average...that sound like it should be some wins...but 22 missed outs don't help the cause...we only have one week left in the first half...we play post office away...if there is any silver lining it's that we should easily come in last place which means we should go down a division or 2 and hopefully we can step it up and dominate...practice those outs boys....
