SUMMARY
Our third winning week in a row....we won the night against Tom's Sportsman 8-7 even though I think we could have won a bunch more games...For the first time in a while we lose all 3 cricket games...even by winning 2 of those games we would be sitting with double digit wins...one thing to note was that Tom's was in last place...we had a nice team 54.10 average...15 tons...only 4 missed ins...and a 1.92 team cricket average...but we missed a lot of timely shots in cricket esp at cork...and we continue to struggle at the out shots...this week we had 24 missed outs...we are starting to make strides in a lot of areas...but continuing to struggle in others...we are almost 1/2 way through the 2nd half of the season...let's focus on those things that we are not doing well so by the time playoffs roll around we are in a good rythm...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were only at 11 this week...good job...this week Ed and Matt are tied for the the prestigious "Skippy Award"...Ed (1 C-rule and 2 squats in cricket) and Matt (1 under 20, 1 C-rule and 1 missed out) both had 3 in fines...Jeff had 2 in fines (1 missed out and 1 squat in crikcet)...Johnny had 1 fine for a missed out...Jr had 1 fine for an under 20...Ted had 1 fine for a squat in cricket...and Andy was fine free...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average...we hit a nice 54.10 team average...and for the first time in a real long time nobody shot under a 45...very nice...
as team we shot 35.54% of our shots under a 40...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Jr shot 31.11% of his shots under a 40...Matt shot 56.25% of his shots under a 40...Ed (41.18%) and Andy (31.25%) all shot more than 30% of their shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Ted (20.67), Jr (24.75), Matt (29.33), eD (30.67) and Andy (37.50)...
For the 4th week in a row we didn't have anyone shoot in the single digits...
this week we only had 4 missed ins...Jeff had 2 missed ins...Ed and John had 1 missed in each...Jr was 2-2 at the ins...Ted was 2-2 at the ins...Andy and Matt didn't even get a shot at an in...that's a very good job... 1 missed in...
we had 24 missed outs this week...we continue to struggle with the outs and it's starting to cost us wins...and a lot of them...we have to start doing better...Ed, Ted and Matt had 4 missed outs each...John, Jr, Andy and Jeff had 3 missed outs each...
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Ed (1.50), Andy (1.60), Jr (1.78) and Ted (1.86)...
Ed had 4 0-mark cricket rounds...Jr, Andy, Jeff and Ted each had 1 0-mark cricket rounds...
Ed only had a 16.67% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a very nice 54.10 team average...Jeff had the high average of the night with a 68.99...Johnny (64.05) rounds out the over 60 club...Ed (51.46) and Andy (53.83) round out the over 50 club....Ted (46.40), Jr (45.65) and Matt (45.32) round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (85.71% or 3 shots), Ted (80.00% or 3 shots) and Johnny (72.22% or 5 shots) were the shooters to shoot over 70% of their shots over a 40....the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (57.67) and John (42.67)...
this week we had 15 team tons...no wonder the averages were all high this week...Jeff led the way with 5 tons...Johnny had 3 tons...Jr and Andy had 2 tons each...Ed, Ted and Matt each had 1 ton...I'm glad nobody wasn't "in the mood" to not chuck triple digit shots...
Jeff had the high score of the night with 140...Jr had a 134...Johnny had 2 133's...Andy had a 123...Ed had a 121...very nice high scores...
Jr (2 @ 100%), Ted (2 @ 100%), Ed (2 @ 66.67%) and Jeff (2 @ 50%) had 2 double ins each...Johnny went 0-1 at the ins...Andy and Matt didn't get a shot at the ins...great work on the in shots this week...
Johnny for the 2nd week in a row hits 3 double outs...Jeff had 2 double outs...Jr, Andy and Ted had 1 double out each...
Jeff (2.43) and John (2.33) were the only shooters with over a 2.0 cricket average...
Jeff and Ed both had 3 >=3-mark rounds...John, Jr and Ted each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Andy had 1 >=3-mark round...

good stat week...lots of tons and high averages...but once again we stink at the outs...let's focus on that b/c that will convert directly into wins...nex week we play away at Crestlawn post...
