SUMMARY
After a week break we were back at it last night...we won the night 9-6 but it could have been much more...the theme of the night was missed ins...we had 21 of them...hard to win games if you struggle to get on...but we did a lot of things pretty good...we had a 51.68 team average...10 team tons...as a team we shot 71.77% of our shots over a 40...5 different shooters had an out...we won two cricket games even though most averages were less than stellar...And Matt hits a huge 171...good job...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were at the second half high this week...we had 33 in total fines...The winner of this week's prestigious "Skippy Award" is Andy with a "Ted" amount of fines...that's right Andy hit double digits this week with 10 total fines...Andy had 3 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 4 missed ins and 2 squats in cricket...keep this up and it will be the "prestigious Andy award"....Matt (2 under 20's, 2 C-rules and 2 missed ins) had 6 in fines...John (1 under 20 and 4 missed ins) and Jr ( 2 under 20's, 2 missed ins and 1 squat at cricket) both had 5 in fines...Jeff had 4 fines for missed ins...Ed (1 under 20 and 2 missed ins) had 3 in fines...talk about padding the kitty...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average with a 51.68 team average...Jr (43.72) and Andy (44.10) were the only shooters with lower than a 45 average...
as team we shot 28.23% of our shots under a 40...that is actually very good...BUT...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...John had 42.86% of his shots under a 40...Andy had 42.11% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Jr (21.50), Andy (30.00), John (34.33), Matt (35.33) and Ed (39.83)...
For the 4th week in a row we have scores in the single digits...Jr shot a 7...
this week we had 21 missed ins...holy crap that's alot...that's right I owe 4 bucks...haha...Ed, John, Andy and Jeff all had 4 missed ins...Jr had 3 missed ins...and Matt had 2 missed ins...I have a question...what does it mean when John and Andy go a combined 0-8 at the ins...that's right 12 bucks in fines...
we had only had 7 missed outs...and that's likely a result of struggling to get in which means we didn't get down to the outs often enough...Andy had 3 missed outs...Johnny had 2 missed outs...Jr and Jeff had 1 missed out each...
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Ed (1.25), Matt (1.36), Jr (1.44), Andy (1.63) and John (1.67) that's a lot of names on that list...
Ed had 4 0-mark cricket rounds...Matt had 3 0-mark cricket rounds...Jr and Andy each had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...Johnny had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Jr (42.86%) was the only shooter to have less than a 50.00% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a 51.96 team average...Jeff led the way with a 62.49 team average...Matt (59.52) and Ed (53.73) round out the over 50 club...John (46.54) and Jr (45.39) round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40...Jeff (91.67% or 2 shots) had the best % of shots over a 40....Ed (76.19% or 5 shots), Matt (73.68% or 5 shots) and Jr (70.00% or 6 shots) all shot more than 70% of their shots over a 40...it's nice to see so many names on this list this week...the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (41.25)...
this week we had 10 team tons...Jeff ld the way with 4 tons...Ed and Matt had 2 tons each...John and Jr had 1 ton each...Andy wasn't "in the mood" to chuck any triple digit score...
Matt had the high score of the night with his first 171 of the year...great job Matt....Jeff also chucked one of his patented 112 in shots...
Jeff shot (4 @ 50.00%) at the double ins...Ed had 2 double ins...Jr and Matt each had 1 double in...Johnny and Andy were both 0-4 at the ins...that's not very good boys...cost me 4 bucks....
John and Jeff both had 2 double outs...Ed, Jr and Matt had 1 double out each...Andy just couldn't seem to find the double ring for an out...
Jeff (3.50) had the high cricket average of the night and was the only shooter above a 2.0 cricket average...
Jeff (5 @ 83.33%) had 5 >=3-mark rounds...Ed and Matt both had 3 >=3-mark rounds...Andy had 2 >= 3-mark rounds...Jr had 1 >= 3-mark rounds each...

we had a nice week by winning 9-6...but it could have been better if we could hit the ins to at least give ourselves some chances at the outs...next week we play Tom's Pub at home...
