| Week #3 and we have all 9 shooters...now I know why I don't like to carry more than 7...too much chaos...Bob didn't feel well so he bowed out after his first game...there were a couple other people that shot like they never picked up a dart before...ughghgh....their team straggled in late...but once we got started we showed a lot more promise than we did last week...we jumped out to 2-0...then it was 5-1....then eventually we won the night 10-5....very nice showing even with people not shooting up to their ability... |

Everyone had 2 or less fines...a lot were due to missed ins and missed outs......Hop is the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" for the 3rd week in a row....this week with 4 in fines...

finally we hit our team goal of a 50 team average with a 50.61...3 shooters over a 55 certainly helped...3 more shooters over a 45...then we have 3 shooters under a 40 and 2 of those were under a 30...I don't know how after shooting 15 weeks this year that anyone could average that low...a bad night should be low 40's maybe...but never under a 40...and certainly never under a 30...FOCUS....

Jeff shot over 90% of his shots over a 40 for the 3rd week in a row...that equates to a total of 4 shots under a 40 for the first 3 weeks combined...Frank banged out a very nice 87.50%...we had a total of 4 shooters over 66%...we had 2 shooters below 55%...and then we have 3 shooters with darts so over the place I don't even know what to say...Hop had 1 shot out of 12 over a 40...ouch...I'll give Bob a pass this week because he only shot 1 game and wasn't feeling well...

after 2 weeks of single digit missed outs we finally start getting down to out shots...and what do we do...that's right proceed to miss 20 out shots...but fortunately we did hit 8 out shots....3 shooters with multiple outs and Ed added 1 out...Marty, Ted and Hop went a combined 0-7 at the outs...Bob and Frank didn't get a shot at an out...

After getting our teeth kicked in last week we were able to put it behind us and come out and do a little whipping of our own...we started out with a couple of wins....and kept winning more than we lost...so that's a good thing...still have a lot of shooters not living up to their potential...figure out your issues and come ready to shoot next week...Next week we play away at Celtic Cross...that should be famiar stomping ground for most of us...let's try and have another winning week...
