Darts 2016/2017 - 2nd Half - Columbia Social Club (away)

after a week off for St Pattys Day we are back at it ....this week we were home against Columbia Social Club...and it was pretty much a yo-yo match...lose one...win one...lose won...win won...etc etc etc...we had a lot of good things going on...my favorite was most likely when the "B" team got shut out in 501 after 6 rounds of missed ins...talk about an expensive game...that's 21 into the kitty...drinks on the "B" team...that "B" team surely missed Matt last night...the "A" team with Hop racked up 6 wins....we have to find ways to have both teams winning matches...only 2 more weeks of the regular season...time to find those winning ways....

after hittin our high in fines for the 2nd half last week with 24 we come out tonight and smash that record with 36 total fines which included the dread 5 in fines each for getting blanked...ouch...The "A" team combined for 2 fines in total...the "B" team combined for the other 34....the winner of this weeks prestigious "Skippy Award" is the "B" team each banging out 10 or more fines each....thanks for padding the kitty boys...

we shot 6 of the last 7 weeks with a team average over a 50...this week we had a very nice 54.10 team average which was helped out by Jeff's 78 average...everyone else shot between 45 (rouding Andy up since he changed his plans to be our 6th shooter last night) and 52....so everyone was right around the same...

4 out of the last 5 weeks we hit double digit tons...Jeff led the way with 7 tons...John and Andy had 1 ton each...Ed, Ted and Hop all weren't "in the mood" to chuck any triple digit scores...let's put things into a little perspective...in one week 7 tons is more tons than these people have after 8 weeks of shooting (Ed, Bob, Andy, Ted, Hop , Frank)...you know I love the triple digit scores...need to see more of them from ALL shooters...

the "B" team desperately missed Matt...but with or without him you guys have to find ways to win more than 1 f'n game...c'mon get your heads out of your a$$e$.....next week we play Little Lit  away....let's try and get a winning week...
