Darts 2007 - 1st Half - Week 6 - Ralph's (home)

SUMMARY

A very good week...I love the double digit wins...we won 10-5...

shooting was inconsistent for parts of the night but overall we shot very well...

THE LOW LIGHTS

"dolla bills" are about average this week at 14 in fines...****TRUMPETS SOUND****...we have a new prestigious "Skippy Award" winner this week...and he didn't even make it close...there was a close race for the first half of the night...but JR stood all alone with 7 fines at the end of the night and 6 of them were for under 20...that's not very good there Jr...you can shoot a lot better than that...but for this week you can add the shame of "Skippy Award"...his running mate Ed finished with 4 in fines...Andy had 2 and Ted only 1...great job Ted....Jeff and Johnny were fine-free...

Obviously from the display he showed with the fines...it's not surprising to see Jr with an atrocious 36.95 average...

Surprise, surprise...Jr shot the team low of a 1...are you f'n kidding me...I haven't seen a shot that low since Skippy graced our presence at darts...all i can say is start splashing....ha....

We had 4 missed ins...and that was 1 for each game that the 1st team played...not bad...

We only had 3 tons all night...that's 2.33%...normally i kick that average up...but i've been struggling hitting the tons this year for some reason...i'm sure it'll come back to me soon enough...

We had a ton of missed outs again this week....17 missed outs...Jr led the way with 5, followed by Teddy with 4 and Ed/Andy with 3 each....Jeff and John had 1 missed out a piece...gotta hit those outs to win...focus....

Jr and Ed struggled a bit in cricket only shooting 1.67 averages...

THE HIGH LIGHTS

We had a nice team average of 49.32...Johnny led the way with a 171...mad props for that Johnny...he also had the high score of the night with 56.76...Andy (51.71), Ted (51.64), Jeff (50.58) and Ed (48.25) round out the shooters over a 48 average....good shooting boys...it's good to see Teddy have back to back good weeks with the average...keep up the good work...

Johnny hit a 171 (3 trip 19's and a patch)...not one of those 3 trip 7 things Andy tried to pull off the other week...Jeff hit a 138 for his only ton of the night and Ed rounds off the tons with a 100...I'd like to start seeing more ton production from everyone...

Jeff shot a perfect 4 double ins this week....Jr and Ted had 2 double ins each...Ed and Jr were the only shooters to miss on double ins with 2 misses each...great job getting into the games...keep that consistency...

Jeff led the way with 4 double outs this week (I guess I gotta give props to the self proclaimed "best assist man in the business" Andy for leaving with shots that I could hit)....Ted contributed 2 outs and Ed had 1 out...Teddy is starting to contribute with outs now too...good job Ted...but we still had 17 missed outs...that's not too good...actually is pretty awful...when you get shots at the out....HIT THEM....

A solid week at cricket...we won all 3 matches...Jeff led the way with a 3.17 average...Teddy was close behind with a 2.83 average....Jr finally starting hitting something last night during cricket and finished with a 2.29 average...Johnny rounds out the 2.0 and over club with exactly a 2.0 average...

It's not surprising after looking at the cricket averages that we banged out some serious >=3-mark rounds....everyone had >=3-mark rounds....Jeff (5), Ted (3), Jr (3), John (2), Andy (2), Ed (1)....that is f'n awesome...kill those trips....

YTD Leaders

Average - Jeff (57.24); High Score - Ed (180) / Johnny (171) - I guess we'll call this the patch club.........................; Tons - Jeff (12 @ 9.23%); Double Ins - Jeff (17 @ 60.71%); Double Outs - Jeff (16 @ 69.57%)

Cricket Average - Jeff (2.49); >=3-mark rounds - Jeff (15 @ 40.54%); Overall win % - Kenny (73.91%); Fines (low) - Jeff (8)

CONCLUSION

We had a ton of missed outs again tonight...BUT 6 of them were in 1 game alone...and that led to a loss...we gotta start hitting the outs more consistently...but i gotta give mad props to everyone for shooting over a 48 (well except Jr) and over a 2.0 in cricket (except Ed and Andy)....that's some serious shooting...i'm very impressed...also now YTD we have 2 shooters over a 50 average...Jeff (57.24) and Kenny (55.07)...and Ed, Johnny and Andy are within striking distance with averages over a 49....only 4 missed ins is great...getting off to a quick start in 501 is key...16 >=3-mark rounds means we're killing the trips in cricket...we are starting to gel as a team...I gotta give some props to Teddy....he had a great week this week...hopefully you stay consistent with this type of shooting....2 weeks of drinking and he posts 2 >50 averages, 2 outs and finally had a good cricket game with 2.83 average...good job...
