SUMMARY
week 9 we played Forrest Hills at home...figure a nice .500 week and we might be able to avoid going for a 20 mile journey to the hills of Roxborough/Manayunk to play CJ & Ecks in the playoffs...unfortunately Forrest Hills either is really bad or is sandbagging...as we put a whipping on them to finish the night 11-4...we had a 50.89 team average, 10 team tons, only 8 missed ins...5 shooters with a double out...on the not so good side we only had a 1.83 team cricket average, 22 in fines and 26 missed outs...they don't sound like stats to be winning in division 4 by a score of 11-4...the standings still aren't up as of Sunday as I'm writing this...but I'd have to assume we're a lock for 3rd place in the division...week 10 will feature Tacony at CJ & Ecks and Ashton at Coaches...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were high once again this week...we had 22 in fines...in total we owed 7 for under 20, 3 for missed ins, 5 for squats at cricket, 6 for missed outs and 1 C-rule...ughghgh...Ted had 6 in fines and captured the prestigious "Skippy Award"....he had 1 missed in, 2 missed outs and 3 squats in cricket...Ed owed 4 in fines...1 for under 20, 2 for missed outs and 1 for squat at cricket...Jr had 4 in fines...1 for C-rule, 1 for missed in and 2 for missed outs...Andy had 4 in fines...3 for under 20 and 1 squat at cricket...Johnny owed 2 in fines...2 for under 20...Bill had 2 in fines...1 for under 20 and 1 for missed in...Jeff went fine free...
Jr posted the lowest average of the night at 41.04...Andy only shot a 41.13...and Johnny rounds out the under 45 club with a 43.70...
as a team we had 37.78% of our shots under a 40...if we look under the covers once again we see that the following culprits had at least 1 game average under a 40...Andy (24.33), Ed (26.29), Johnny (28.75), Bill (33.67) and Jr (37.20)...the following shooters had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Ed (55.00%), Andy (50.00%), Johnny (45.00%) and Jr (43.75%)...2 shooters with more than 50% of their shots under a 40....that's pretty bad...Ed has 55% of his shots under a 40 but winds up with a 53.85 average...interesting...
Ed (9) had the only score in the single digits this week...
We are back to single digit missed ins...this week we only had 8 missed in...good job...Bill had 3 missed ins, Ed had 2 missed ins, Jr, Jeff and Ted each had 1 missed in...Jr went a perfect 1 for 1 and Andy didn't even get a shot at an out...
We had a disgusting 26 missed outs this week...Ted led the crap parade with 7 missed outs, Ed was right behind him with 6 missed outs...followed closely y Jr and Andy with 5 missed outs each...Bill had 2 missed outs....Johnny had 1 missed out...Jeff went a perfect 3 for 3 at the outs...
Ted posts the lowest cricket average...this week Ted only averaged a horrid 1.00 cricket average...not good by any standards...Jr (1.56), Andy (1.63) and Ed (1.67) had averages under a 2.0...
Andy and Ted each had 3 0-mark rounds in cricket...Ed and Jr each had 1 0-mark cricket rounds...that's a lot of misses...
Everyone finished the night with over a 50% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a team average of 50.89...In a surprise turn of events Ted has the highest average of the night with a 60.82...Jeff (59.88), Bill (53.87) and Ed (53.85) round out the over 50 club...And of course I did the calcs if I didn't bust on the 76 out...I would have had a 62.96 average...damn right church wrong pew...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Ted (53.17) and Jeff (46.25) were the only two shooter to average over a 40 in every game...Jeff (85.00% or 3 shots), Bill (77.78% or 4 shots) and Ted (I'll let him slide through with 31.82% or 7 shots) were the only shooters to have over 70% of their shots over a 40...
this week we had 10 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Ed and Ted had 2 each...Johnny and Bill had 1 ton...Jr and Andy weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Ed had the high score of the night with 140...good job Ed...
Jr (3 @ 75.00%) led the way with double ins this week...Jeff (2 @ 66.67%), Johnny (1 @ 100%), Ed (1 @ 33.33%) and Bill (1 @ 25.00%) had the other double ins...
Jeff led the way with 3 double outs...Bill had 2 double outs...and Ed, Johnny and Ted each had 1 double out...
Johnny led the way with a very nice 2.75 cricket average to once again capture the YTD lead over Jeff by .02...it's a close race and whoever shoots better next week will pick up the YTD title...Jeff had a 2.40 average to round out the over 2.0 club...How we won all 3 games of cricket with only 2 shooters over a 2.0 average is beyond me...
Johnny led the way with 3 @ 75.00% >=3-mark rounds...Jeff posted 2 @ 40.00% >=3-mark rounds...Jr posted 2 @ 22.22% >=3-mark rounds...Ed and Andy each had 1 >=3-mark rounds...
Johnny led this week with a 100.00% win rate (ie 6-0)...Jeff and Andy each had a 83.33% win rate...Jr (66.67%), Bill (60.00%), Ted (57.14%) and Ed (50.00%) round out the over 50% win rate....

CONCLUSION
Well a crazy ride this week...we played right around average this week in my estimation but come out on top 11-4....On the good side we had 4 shooters over a 50 average, we had double digit tons, only single digit missed ins, and 2 shooters over a 2.0 in cricket...on the not so good side....we had 3 shooters under a 45 average, we had a horrid 26 missed outs, and 4 shooters under a 2.0 average in cricket...
Next week we are off for Thanksgiving...hopefully everyone has a nice Turkey Day....In two weeks we play away against Coach's...it's our last regular season week...after that we will most likely play away in the first round of the playoffs against CJ & Ecks...
