SUMMARY
Week 6 brings us a winning week...we beat Tacony Billiards 9-6...but we still remain in 4th place overall...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were sporadic last night...we had 16 total team fines...Ed led the way with 4 in fines to collect the "Prestigious Skippy Award"...Ed had 2 under 20's and 2 C-Rules...Johnny (1 C-rule, 1 missed in and 1 squat in cricket), Jr (2 under 20's and 1 squat in cricket) and Ted (2 under 20's and 1 squat in cricket) each had 3 in fines...Andy (1 missed in), Jeff (1 missed in) and Bill (1 under 20) each had 1 fine...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 team average with a 52.86 average...Bill was the only shooter not to reach a 45 average...Bill's average was 42.31....
as team we shot 29.03% of our shots under a 40...that may possibly be the first time that our team on average has shot less than 30% of our shots under a 40...that's a great accomplishment...but if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Bill (37.50%), Jr (36.84%) and Ted (36.84%) all missed the mark by shooting more than 30% of their shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Bill (31.33), Ted (33.33), Ed (35.50), Jr (36.20), Johnny (36.67) and Andy (37.00)...
Ed shot a 6...Jr shot a 7...Ted shot a 7 and a 9...that's a lot of single digit scores..
this week we had 7 missed ins...Ed had 3 missed ins...Johnny, Andy, Jeff and Bill each had 1 missed in...Bill didn't even get a shot at an in...Jr was a perfect 2 for 2 at the ins and Ted was a perfect 1 for 1...
this week we had 16 missed outs...Johnny and Jeff each had 4 missed outs...Bill had 3 missed outs...Andy had 2 missed outs...Ed, Jr and Ted each had 1 missed out...that's a lot of opportunity lost...need to start hitting those outs...
Jr had the lowest cricket average of the night with a 0.80....Andy (1.40) and Ted (1.57) round out the under 2.0 club...
Ed and Ted each had 2 0-mark rounds in cricket...Johnny, Jr and Jeff each had 1 0-mark round in cricket...
Bill was the only shooter under a 50% win rate...Bill had a 40.00% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week our team average was 52.86...that's a very solid week for us...Jeff led the way with a very impressive 69.54 average...Jr (55.24), Johnny (53.29) and Andy (53.15) round out the over 50 club...Ted (47.96) and Ed (45.20) round out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40...Jeff led the way with 85.00% (or 3 shots) of his shots over a 40...Ed (77.78% or 4 shots), Andy (72.73% or 3 shots) and Johnny (71.43% or 6 shots) also shot more than 70% of their shots over a 40...good job guys...always good to see that many names on this list...Jeff (50.67) was the only shooter to average over a 40 every game...
this week we had 10 team tons...Jeff led the way with 5 tons...Johnny had 2 tons...Ed, Jr and Ted had 1 ton each...Bill and Andy weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Johnny had the high score of the night with a 131...Jeff shot a 125, Ed shot a 118, Jr shot a 108 and Ted shot a 105...that's a lot of high scores...
Jeff had 4 ins (80%)...Jr was 2 for 2 at the ins...Ted was 1 for 1 at the ins...Johnny was 1 for 2 at the ins...Ed went 0-3, Andy and Bill each went 0-1 at the ins...
Jr and Johnny led the way with 2 double outs each...Ed, Andy and Bill each had 1 double out...This was Jeff's 1st week without a double out in the first 16 weeks of both halfs...I stink...plus Jr is now only 2 outs behind me for the lead...
Jeff led the way with a 2.57 cricket average...Ed and Johnny each had a 2.0 average to round out the over 2.0 club...
Jeff (3 @ 42.86%) led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds including a very impressive 7 mark round...Ed and Johnny each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ted had 1 >=3-mark rounds...Jr and Andy didn't have any >=3-mark rounds...

CONCLUSION
lots of nice averages for the 2nd week in a row...4 shooters above the covers...2 cricket wins...overall a very nice night...we won the night 9-6....next week we play away at McNoodle's...last time we played them we whipped them 11-4...let's come back out with the same result next week...they are in 3rd place though so we can't take any week lightly...
