SUMMARY
Week 8 we were home against the last place Columbia Social Club...our boy Skippy made a guest appearance...Andy took the night off...and that woke up the other 2 anchors who lit up the outs like nobody's business..Ted had 4 outs and Matt had 3 outs...very nice job....at one point in the night we had an 8 game winning streak and we finished the night 12-3...and we did that with Jeff and Ed having no outs and Johnny and Jr only having one out each...very good job by Matt and Ted in banging out the outs...
THE LOW LIGHTS
Fines were at a total of 15 this week...this week we have an unfamiliar face stepping to the podium to receive the prestigious "Skippy Award"....drum roll please...and the winner is Johnny with 4 total fines (1 under 20, 1 missed in and 2 missed outs)...Ed (1 under 20, 1 C-rule and 1 squat in cricket), Jeff (1 missed in and 2 missed outs) and Matt (1 missed in and 2 missed outs) all had 3 in fines... Jr had 2 in fines (1 C-rule and 1 squat in cricket)...Ted was fine free...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 average by shooting a team average of 53.68...everyone shot over a 45 average...great job...
as team we shot 30.00% of our shots under a 40...that is very good and actually means as a team we shot over the covers for the night...BUT...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Matt had 42.11% of his shots under a 40...Jr had 40.91% of his shots under a 40...Ted had 36.36% of his shots under a 40....and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Jr (35.67) and Matt (36.67)...
Ed shot a 5 for the only single digit shot of the night...
we did a good job at the double ins this week...we only had 6 missed ins...Ed had 2 missed ins...John, Jr, Jeff and Matt all had 1 missed in...Ted was 1-1 at the ins...
this week we had 27 missed outs...even though we won 13 games that many missed outs directly cost us 2 games...Johnny led the way with 6 missed outs...Jr, Jeff and Matt all had 5 missed outs...Ed and Ted had 3 missed outs...imagine how high this would have been if Andy was here...he never hits an out...haha
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Ed led the mess with a measly 1.00...Jr shot a 1.38...past 3 weeks had 5 people under 2.0...this week only 2 people and we wind up winning all 3 games....go figure...
Ed, Jr, Jeff and Ted all had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Everyone had a higher than 50% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we hit our goal of a 50 team average by only hitting a very nice 53.68 team average......Jeff led the way with a 68.20 average...Ted (53.82), Ed (53.58) and Johnny (51.67) round out the over 50 club...Jr (49.03) and Matt (45.78) round out the over 45 club....very nice job with the averages this week...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (95.24% or 1 shot), Johnny (72.73% or 6 shots) and Ed (70.83% or 6 shots) were the shooters to shoot over 70% of their shots over a 40...the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Jeff (51.67), Ed (48.33), Johnny (42.40) and Ted (41.50)...nice to see a bunch of names on this list...good job...
this week we had 9 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Ed had 2 tons...Jr, Ted and Matt all had 1 ton...Johnny wasn't "in the mood" to chuck any triple digit shots...
Jeff had the high score of the night with a 152 (which was an in shot)...Ted had a 108...
Jeff (4 @ 80.00%) led the way with 4 double ins...Ed had 2 double ins...Jr and Ted had 1 double in each...Johnny and Matt were both 0-1 at the ins...
Ted led the way with a very impressive 4 outs...Matt had 3 double outs...very nice job by our 3rd shooter on each team...John and Jr each had 1 out...and Ed and Jeff didn't have any outs...gotta go with my gut on this one...board has to be off...haha...
Johnny had the high cricket average of the night with a 2.60...Jeff was right behind him with a 2.50 cricket average...Ted and Matt both had a 2.00 cricket average...
Ted led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Johnny and Jeff both had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Jr and Matt had 1 >=3-mark rounds each...Ed didn't feel like hitting 3 or more marks in a round tonight...
Ed, Jr and Ted all had a 85.71% win rate...Johnny, Jeff and Matt all had a 71.43% win rate...

CONCLUSION
week 8 we shot very well...the competition didn't really put any heat on us...because if they did the 27 missed outs would have cost us dearly...I'm going to have to assume the board is definitely off...how can you explain Matt and Ted combining for 7 outs and me and Jr combining for 1 out...gotta be the board... but back to reality...very nice job on the outs Matt and Ted...so let's take a quick look at the world of stats...all shooters shot over a 45 average...9 tons...only 6 missed ins...4 shooters with a double out (and I wasn't one of them)....4 shooters with over a 2.0 average...next week we play Post Office #2...as of last week they were in 2nd to the last place...
