SUMMARY
Week 9 we were home against the second to the last place Post Office #2...thought it might be a good chance to pick up some wins...but things didn't quite turn out the way we would have liked...we lost the night 7-8...but Ted and Matt were banging the doubles outs with 2 each...
THE LOW LIGHTS
Fines were at a total of 17 this week...it looked like we might have had a contender to shoot a Teddy or a Baker's dozen...but it fell a little short of that...this week Ed is collecting the prestigious "Skippy Award"....Ed contributed in every category we have...Ed owed 3 for under 20, 1 for a C-rule, 1 for missed in, 1 for a missed out and 1 for a squat in cricket...Jr (1 under 20, 1 missed in and 1 missed out) and Matt (2 under 20's and 1 squat in cricket) both had 3 fines...Johnny (1 under 20 and 1 squat in cricket) and Ted (1 missed in and 1 missed out) both had 2 in fines...Jeff was fine free...
this week we hit our goal of a 50 average by shooting a team average of 53.68...but these two charlatans of dart players didn't help the cause...Ed (39.85) and Jr (38.79) were in the under 40 club...horrible...
as team we shot 28.57% of our shots under a 40...that is very good and actually means as a team we shot over the covers for the night for the 2nd week in a row...BUT...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Ed had 46.15% of his shots under a 40...to put that in perspective he had 12 shots out of 26 that were under a 40...not very good...Jr also had 42.31% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...the following are their low game average of the night...Matt (23.00), Jr (23.25), Ed (29.25), Jeff (33.50), Johnny (39.75)...that's a lot of names...including mine...we stink...
Ed shot a 6, 7, 9...Johnny shot a 9...Matt shot a 7...holy crap that's a lot of single digit shots for one night...
we did a good job at the double ins this week...we only had 9 missed ins...Ed and Jr had 3 missed ins each...Johnny, Jeff and Ted had 1 missed in each...Matt was a perfect 1-1 at the ins...
this week we had 16 missed outs...Jr led the mess with 4 missed outs...Ed and Johnny had 3 missed outs each...Jeff, Ted and Matt all had 2 missed outs...
The following shooters shot less than a 2.0 average in cricket...Jr and Matt both shot a 1.25 cricket average...Ed (1.38) and Johnny (1.50) round out the under 2.0 club...
Ed and Matt both had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...John, Jr and Ted all had 1 0-mark cricket round...
Ed, Jr and Ted all had a 28.57% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we hit our goal of a 50 team average by only hitting a 51.30 team average...Jeff led the way with a 64.42 average...John (58.40), Matt (53.23) and Ted (53..14) round out the over 50 club...so we have 4 people over 50 and 2 people under 40...those under 40 people better get their act together...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Ted (86.36% or 3 shots), Jeff (85.00% or 3 shots), Johnny (84.21% or 3 shots) and Matt (77.78% or 4 shots) were the shooters to shoot over 70% of their shots over a 40...nice to see a lot of names on this list....the following shooters averaged over a 40 each game....the following is their low game average...Ted (42.17)...
this week we had 8 team tons...Jeff and Johnny led the way with 3 tons each...Matt had 2 tons...Ed, Jr and Ted weren't "in the mood" to chuck any triple digit shots...
Jeff had the high score of the night with a 121...Jeff hit his patented 112 on...
Jeff (3 @ 75.00%) led the way with 3 double ins...Ed and Ted had 2 double ins each...Matt was 1-1 at the ins...Johnny was 0-1 at the ins...Jr was 0-3 at the ins...
Ted and Matt were at it again...both had 2 double outs this week...Jeff and Johnny had 1 double out each......and Ed and Jr didn't have any outs...you two bozos didn't really do anything last night huh??? Guess Jr misses Andy...
Jeff had the high cricket average of the night and possibly of all time with a very very impressive 5.00 cricket average....let's put that in perspective...that was 20 marks in 4 rounds...compare that with Ed and Matt's game which saw 21 total marks in 16 rounds...or compare it with Jr and Ted's 22 marks in 11 rounds...Ted was the only other shooter with over a 2.0 cricket average...he had a very nice 2.60 cricket average...
Jeff led the way with 4 >=3-mark rounds (4 at 100.00%)...Ted had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ed, Jr and Matt had 1 >=3-mark rounds each...Johnny didn't feel like hitting 3 or more marks in a round tonight...
Johnny and Jeff both had a 71.43% win rate...Matt had a 57.14% win rate...

CONCLUSION
week 9 seemed very streaky...Ed and Jr weren't on their game...we had a bunch of missed outs...but 7 of the 16 missed outs were in one game...we lost the night 7-8...but we did have Matt and Ted with multiple outs again..so that's promising...our team average was over a 50 and we only had 28.57% of our shots as a team under a 40...so we are making strides in the right direction...Jeff did chuck an unprecedented 5.0 cricket average...so there are a lot of things we are doing better...but there are always places we can improve....next week we are off for Thanksgiving....BUT we have to find a day and time to play Grey Lodge...I'll call him over the weekend and see what's good for them and then figure out what works for us...enjoy your Thanksgiving!!! don't forget to pay your fines the last week of the season...
