Darts 2012/2013 - 2nd Half - Grey's Lodge (away)

SUMMAR

Week 6 and we are away against Grey's Lodge...Andy takes the night off and we welcome back Skippy...and the time off actually did Skippy some good...as a team we had a very high 55.37 team average...we had 19 tons...single digit missed ins and outs...we still struggle at cricket....but we won the night in impressive fashion 10-5...

Even with the return of Skippy our fines were still very low...this we we have a 2 way tie for the Skippy award...Ed and Jr both share in the "prestigious" award with 4 fines each...Jr only had one fine going into the last game of the night but he had a horrendous showing in cricket chucking up 3 squat shots to tie Ed for the night...

Skippy bets Johnny that he (ie Skippy) will have a higher average than both Ed and Jr...Skippy lost the bet...but it was closer than we might have expected...Jr (56.39)...Skippy (49.88)...Ed (41.33)...what he should have bet was that he would have a higher average than those two combined...because he would have won that....49.88 vs 48.86 ...(56.39+41.33)/2 = 48.86

CONCLUSION

gotta like double digit wins...we did a lot of things pretty good...we had a 55.37 team average...19 tons...single digit missed ins...single digit missed outs...5 out of 6 shooters had an out...cricket is a whole other story...only one win...not so good averages....let's keep trying to improve...next week we play home against Columbia Social Club...
