Darts 2012/2013 - 2nd Half - Red Rooster (away)

SUMMARY

Week 8 and we are away against Red Rooster...Skippy takes the night off again....stat wise we shot pretty good...a lot of different people contributed....we won the night 11-4...but let's take a closer look below...

Johnny was the Skippy leader going into the last cricket game of the night...BUT...Andy would not be denied...Andy chucked 3 squats in cricket to take a commanding lead in fines and took the honor of winning  the "prestigious" Skippy award with 6 in fines...

After 1 week of slipping at our goal we come back with a very nice 54.03 team average...everyone was above a 45 average...very nice shooting...

congrats to Jeff for shooting over 80% for the 8th week in a row...congrats to Ted for hitting 80% this week...very nice we had 5 shooters with over 2/3 of their shots over a 40...great job...BUT...then we have Ed with only 43.48%....need more consistency...

After a week of only single digit tons we are back to double digit tons this week....we had 5 shooters with multiple tons....that's very nice shooting...this week only Johnny wasn't "in the mood" to chuck triple digits...

After 4 weeks of only single digit missed ins we missed the ins like crazy this week....we had 14 missed ins...which actually cost us 12 in fines...it's interesting to see that both 1st shooters were 3-6, both 2nd shooters were 1-3, both 3rd shooters were 0-2....we really need to fix our double in shooting...once the playoff comes it could cause us issues...

3 shooters with multiple outs...very good...BUT...we still had 18 missed outs...let's start hitting the outs sooner...we can't rely on the other team to miss them...we have to hit them...

CONCLUSION

can't complain about too much when we have double digit wins...we also had double digit tons...almost 70% of our team shots over a 40...over a 54 team average...over a 2.0 team cricket average...the one area we have to improve on is the double ins/outs....we had double digit missed ins and double digit missed outs....let's fix that leak before playoffs....next week we play away at McNoodles...
