Darts 2012/2013 - 2nd Half - Hemmingways (home)

SUMMARY

Week 10 and we are home against Hemmingways...it's the last regular season week and we come into the night with a 4 game lead in 1st place...Skippy takes the night off...Andy is back...we were streaky to say the least...we won 3 game in a row...lost 3 games in a row...won 5 games in a row...we need more production out of the "B" team who only won 3 games....and we need to start finding ways to win cricket...and people have to learn how to hit the bull...we had 8 squat shots at the bull...no wonder we can't win cricket...luckily we won the night 9-6 mainly because we had 3 shooters with multiple outs...good job...

Ted was in the lead for the Skippy award with only 1 game left...Jr would not be outdone and shot 2 squats in cricket to pass Teddy and capture the "Prestigious Skippy Award"...Jr had 6 in fines...but let's just look at the overall fines for a minute...we have played 20 weeks....and we are still having 5 C-rules????  and still having 5 under 20's???? and 5 squats in cricket???  not very good...the game is pretty simple....keep the dart on the board...hit at least 1 dart into what you are aiming at...these 2 simple rules would eliminate this mess...

ok after having 1 bad week Jeff comes back and hits 80% of his shots over a 40 again...that makes 9 out of 10 weeks over 80%...we had 4 shooters with more than 2/3 of their shots over a 40...great job....then there is Andy with less than 50%...pick it up little man...

Congrats to John, Jr, Jeff and Ted for having positive rankings for the 2nd half...Ed, Andy and Skippy some improvements are needed...BUT...on the bright side...Ed went from -19 in the first half to -9 in the second half...Andy went from -20 in the first half to -9 in the second half...Skippy went from -68 in the first half to -30 in the second half (but i'm thinking that was only because he didn't show up many weeks in the 2nd half)...Jr went from a -27 in the first half to +12 in the second half ...great turn around Jr....Ted went from +20 in the first half to +38 in the second half...so the good news is that there was at least some improvement....on the other hand John went from +113 in the first half to +61 in the second half...and Jeff went from +194 in the first half to +184 in the second half...so even thought we didn't improve we still crushed the rest of you idiots...haha...

at least we got back to a winning week...it appears we should wind up in first place which will give us a bye the first week of playoffs...obviously i'm not letting you guys not shoot for 2 weeks so I guess we will either get together at the bar or my house...so we need to have 2 more winning weeks to finish this year...
