| It's week #4 and we are playing Flukes away... Andy was in Colorado ... so we had 7 shooters... Ed played in the first game then sat the rest of the night...if nothing else he gave everyone a chance to show what they are made of...and boy we showed that we SUCK!!! haha....maybe a little too dramatic after only getting 5 hours of sleep...but back to reality we shot very bad and very inconsistent last night...Flukes shot very well and didn't miss any outs...we went from not missing an in last week to missing 22 in shots....that's the bad news...i'm looking for a silver lining and I guess that would be that those in shots padded the kitty with 18 in fines....every time I looked at the scoreboard there were a lot of shots under a 40...we are in division 4...it's not that hard to hit 2 fatties of the number you are aiming at....we do stats to bring perception back to reality....use the stats mostly for fun...but if you are trying to improve your game use the stats to find areas to focus on....so it's our 2nd losing week in a row...we have to start turning this around...Friday's suck after a loss.... |

after having a high in fines for the season at 11, we blow that out of the water with 24 team fines....absolutely horrible....we had 18 fines for missed ins...that's 6 rounds of missed ins...ughgghgh....Matt is the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" with 6 in fines...

for the 4th week in a row we had a team average over a 50...BUT...I think we need to try and get that above 55...this week we only had a team average of 51.55...we had one shooter over a 70...3 shooters with over a 50 average...1 shooter over a 45...and we have 2 shotoers under a 40...maybe you 2 should start splashing...ughggh....time for everyone to start focusing on all their shots...

As a team we shot over 70% of our shots over a 40 for the 2nd week in a row...2 shooters over 89%...2 shooters over 70%...1 shooter over 60%...1 shooter over 50%...and 1 shooter at 20%...

After 3 weeks in a row with single digit missed ins, we turn things around for the worse in a hurry...this week we had 22 missed ins...so I did a little digging...the first 3 weeks combined we had 14 missed ins...and in one week we have 22 missed ins....that's not what I would call good shooting....Jeff had 4 ins and still owed 3 in fines...ughggh...George, John, Ted and Mike each had 1 double in, but had a combined 14 missed ins....Matt went 0-5....Ed didn't get a shot at an in....I know I don't have to keep harping on this but we must do better than this in future weeks...anyone believing in "fan-gate" yet?????

John and Mike had 1 out each...Jeff and Ted went a combined 0-3 at the outs...Ed, Matt and George didn't even have a shot at an out....so you might think well we only had 7 missed outs - that can't be too bad...but you would be wrong...all that means is our scoring sucked to the point where we didn't get down to out shots....plus to be fair the other team didn't miss many outs...

we missed our goal of a 2.0 team average for the 2nd week in a row...we only had a 1.92 team average...we had 1 shooter with a 3.0 average...we had 2 other shooters over a 2.0 average...and 1 over a 1.5 average...we had one over a 1.0 average...and who would have thought someone could have done worse than Ed's 0.71 average last week...well Ted was up for the challenge only hitting a 0.67 average...really??? At least Mike and George found a way to pull out a win in their cricket game...

let's call it like it was...we got our a$$es handed to us last night...I don't like to lose and certainly don't like to get whipped even more....way too many missed ins...way to many untimely low scores...missed the outs when we got to them...losing 2 cricket games...we have to get back on track...looks like we are going to move from 2nd place to either 5th or 6th place...we need EVERYONE to step up and start shooting more consistently...next week we play JD McGuillicuddys at home...let's come ready to play...time to put this week behind us....
