Darts 2017/2018 - 1st Half - Little Lit (away)

SUMMARY

It's week #6 and Hemmingways 2.0 looks like it is going to be out of commission for at least another month...time to find a new home bar for the rest of this first half....Matt had the sniffles and couldn't make it...so we are shooting with 7....we play at Little Lit away...a fairly decent night....we did very good at the ins...probably left a couple outs (and wins) on the table...there was some mediocre scores at times...but only single digit fine...and most importantly we won the night 9-7....

for the 6th week in a row we had a team average over a 50...BUT...I think we need to try and get that above 55...this week we had a team average of 54.17...we had one shooter over a 80...Mikey Boo had a 54.79 which i'm rounding up since he was the only other shooter over a 50 average....Ted, George, Ed and Johnny all shot over a 47...Andy shot a 44...everyone has to start averaging over a 50...way too many low scores at times...stay focused...

CONCLUSION

a fairly decent week this week...need to focus on getting our scoring more consistent...we had 42 shots under 40...gotta clean that up...it was good to see 8 for 8 at the double ins tonight....we also had 5 different shooters take a game out....we won 2 cricket games again...let's keep improving week after week...it's likely we won't be able to catch first place...so let's work hard to try and come in 2nd to get a home playoff game (well at least on paper since we don't have a home)...I'll text everyone once we find out where we are playing next week...either way we will be playing Lumpy McGees...let get another "W"....
