SUMMARY
well I guess it was bound to happen...we played like crap...we went 4-11 against Polonia Club aka Cannonballs aka Daddy O's....I do have to give them credit though...they had a 171 and a 180...and they didn't miss many outs....I want to give a shout out to Mo for filling in this week and he did a very fine job too...we didn't have many chances tonight but we did miss a bunch of out shots which could have given us another game or two...but alot of games we weren't even contention for the win...we just had the issue that nobody was able to step up last night...no biggie...let's focus on the rest of the weeks...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were better than last week again with only 14 in fines...that could be because Teddy wasn't there plus we didn't charge Mo with any fines...but either way it's good to see it go down...we have a tie for the prestigious "Skippy Award"....Johnny and Andy each had 4 in fines to claim the top spot....10 of our fines were for under 20 and C-rules....keep those darts on the board boys....and try hitting some fatties....Ed, Jr and Jeff each had 2 in fines...
Another week with a shooter in the 30's for an overall average??? what's up with that....we can't keep having shooting like that...we need to start finding some consistency....Jr led the crap parade with a 38.33 average...Mo (40.69) and Andy (42.18) rounded out the under 45 club this week....
so my new favorite stat...the "under the covers" stat....if we look under the covers once again we see that EVERYONE (except Jeff) had at least 1 game average under a 40....and this week we have 1 player under a 20 average...Jr had a pathetic 18.33 average in a game....now that's f'n embarrassing...we also had two shooters with averages in the 20's....Mo (21.33) and Johnny (28.75)....and to round out the under 40 low game averages are Ed (31.00) and Andy (33.67)....We gotta start focusing on averaging over a 40 each game at a minimum...and we can't be throwing games in the 20's (or lower...did I mention Jr's 18.33???) at all...also if we look even closer we can see that a horrid 41.84% of our shots were under a 40...that number has to be in the 20% range....Everyone (except Jeff) shot over 30% which isn't good at all....Mo led the pack with 65.22% of his shots under a 40...but he actually has a good excuse...he's not on the team...Andy followed close behind with 47.62%...Jr was on his heels with 46.15%....Johnny shot at 39.13% and Ed shot a decent 32.00%.....Jeff only shot 21.74% of his shots under a 40....guys let's focus on shooting to get those percentages into the 20's or lower...
Holy single digits batman....we had 5 shooters with a single digit score this week....Johnny (5), Jr (5), Mo (6), Ed (9) and Jeff (9)....that's pretty horrid....let's try and make sure each round we shoot is at least over a 40...
we continue to do well at the in shots...only 5 missed ins....Ed led the pack with 4 of them...not very good for our lead off shooter....Jeff had 1 missed out....but overall great job....
Still had a bunch of missed outs (18)...and this week those missed outs cost us wins...we NEED to hit those outs....Andy and Johnny led the way with 5 missed outs...Jeff had 4 missed outs...Mo had 2 missed outs....and Ed and Jr had 2 missed outs...
Andy (1.50) was our lone shooter not to make the 2.0 club in cricket this week...
Nobody finished the night over a 50% win rate....not very good...Jr finished the night at 14.29%....everyone else finished at 28.57%....consistency boys...make it part of your game...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we only had a 46.32 team average...Jeff led the way with a 61.39 average...Ed turned around his lackluster performance last week to shoot a nice 50.08 average....Johnny rounds out the over 45 club with a 45.28...
we finished the night with 6 tons....jeff led the way with 4 tons....Ed and Johnny each had 1 ton....
we did a great job at the in shots again last night...we were 61.54% at double ins last night...Jr led the way with 4....Jeff followed closely behind with 3 double ins....Johnny had 1 double out...shooting over 50% at the ins is a great job...keep up the good work...
Johnny, Andy and Mo each had 1 double out....
we shot a team cricket average of 2.13...Jr led the way with a 2.67 average....Jeff had a 2.40 average....Mo had an impressive cricket game for a newbie with a 2.20 average...Ed and Johnny each had a 2.0 average....even with all these good scores we only won one of the games...
Jeff and Mo led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Jr had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ed, Johnny and Andy each had 1...and Johnny made his count with a nice 6-mark round....
Nothing good to report on win rates...we sucky sucky...

CONCLUSION
not a very good night by any stretch of the imagination...it seemed like we weren't focused and once we got down in games there just didn't seem like there was any fire to put any pressure on them....I guess it didn't help that they were shooting the lights out last night....oh well...it's only one bad week....let's regroup and get back on the winning track next week....our next adventure will be against Grey's Lodge (away)...
