SUMMARY
for the second week in a row we post double digit wins....and this week we have some new leaders in the club house....the race for double outs has been a close one all year so far...but this week yours truly pulled his head out of his butt and banged out an impressive 5 double outs to take the lead for the first time all year....you would think that would make me the star of the week...but if we look closer how could we not give mad props to the little loud guy for being the best assist man in the business...we also shot very nice averages with the team average at an incredible 56.44....and how did this happen...i would have to say that the amazing 15 tons had to help the cause....everyone knows i love the high scores and the double digit wins...so hopefully this blog will be one filled with happy thoughts...but you know me....i'll dig into the details and find people doing things that suck...so don't get all warm and fuzzy just yet....haha....but overall a very nice week....
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were better than last week with a 10 fine improvement with 19 fines for the week....I guess with Ted on hiatus this week it opened up the chance for Sir Edward to claim the prestigious "Skippy Award" for the 2nd week in a row...are you kidding me ex-captain? 8 more in fines this week...you better hope this rain causes some leaks in roofs this week....and let's look at how Ed accumulated so many dolla bills....3 under 20's, 2 C-Rules, 2 missed ins and 1 squat shot in cricket....talk about spreading it around....ughghgh....if this continues next year we're going to have the prestigious Eddie award and the E-Rule....you're a better shooter than this...and actually you're average shows it this week....but it's always fun ripping on someone with 8 fines (esp when it's not Ted)....Jr had 5 in fines, Johnny had 4 in fines and Jeff and Andy had 1 fine each...remember fines are only funny for those that don't owe them....ha....
this week we had Johnny (42.60) and Jr (43.08) as our only 2 shooters under a 45 average...
holy "under the covers" batman.....if we look under the covers once again we see that EVERYONE (except ANDY) had at least 1 game average under a 40....and this week again we have an embarrassing 4 players with under a 30 average in a game...Ed (25.67), Johnny (27.00), Jr (28.00), Jeff (29.67).....wow in case you didn't notice yours truly had a horrendous under the covers game with a 29.67....Bill rounded out the under the covers with a low game of 39.20.....We gotta start focusing on averaging over a 40 each game at a minimum...and we can't be throwing games in the 20's (esp can't have 4 people in the 20's...ughghgh)...also if we look even closer we can see that 39.02% of our shots were under a 40...that number has to be in the 20% range....Everyone (except Jeff and Andy) shot over 30% which isn't good at all....Bill led the way with 52.38% of his shots under a 40....Jr (47.83%) and Johnny (47.37%) followed closely behind....Ed was at 38.10%....guys let's focus on shooting to get those percentages into the 20's or lower...
We had 3 shooters with scores in the single digits...Bill led the way with a 3....Johnny shot a 7...and Jr shot a 7 twice....guys when all else fails let's aim for the big fat part....let's try and make sure each round we shoot is at least over a 40 (at a minimum)...
we were at 13 missed ins this week....Jeff and Ed led the way with 3 missed ins....Johnny, Jr and Bill each had 2 missed ins....Andy only had 1 missed in...we have to do better than that...we need to hit those in shots to give us chances of winning consistently....
we did a great job this week with only 9 missed outs this week...Jr and Bill each had 3 missed outs....Ed had 2 missed outs and Jeff had 1 missed out...Johnny was a perfect 1 for 1 and Andy didn't even have a shot at an out...like i asked for last week (single digit missed outs) we actually did it and helped us get double digit wins....great job....
I guess cricket isn't Bill's game....Bill had a not so great 0.60 average....yours truly had his worst week at cricket this week with a pathetic 1.60 average...Jr shot a 1.67 and Johnny shot a 1.80 average to round out the under 2.0 cricket average club...
we had 7 squat shots in cricket....3 of them at cork...Bill and Johnny had 2 each...Ed, Jr, and Jeff had 1 each...
Ed and Bill finished the night with the only under 50% win rate with 42.86%....
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we had a great team average of 56.44 this week...that's a great job....Jeff led the way with a 69.23 average....Andy was on fire this week with a great 64.61 average....Ed (with the help of his fluke 140 average on the round when they only had 1 official shot due to their combined 7 missed ins) shot a very nice 61.50 average...but even without that it's a good week for Ed....Bill rounds out the over 45 club this week with a very nice 57.64 average (also helped with a 100 average in that same game as Ed)...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game.......and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Andy was the only shooter with a low game over a 40....Andy's lowest average game this week was 44.80...very good job Andy....hopefully it's not a fluke and we see you here again next week...Jeff led the way with 84.21% of his shots over a 40...Andy is also on the list with 70% of his shots over a 40.....that translates into 6 shots under a 40 for Andy and 3 shots under a 40 for Jeff...and 2 of those 3 shots were in my under the covers game which was the last 501....maybe i was stewed....haha...i love consistency and this stat helps show it....hopefully we'll keep seeing some new names on this list in the weeks to come
this week we were banging out the tons....15 tons???? are you kidding me...that's spectacular....I continued leading the ton parade with 5 tons this week...Ed, Andy and Bill each shot 3 tons...Johnny rounded out the tons with 1 ton....for those of you not paying attention...Jr was the only shooter without a ton...what's up with that??? guys i love the high scores....keep it up...
this week we shot 38.10% at the in shots...Ed led the way with 3 in shots....Jeff had 2 in shots...Johnny, Jr and Andy each has 1 in shot...we have to do better at the ins...gotta start getting into single digits missed ins....
we did a great job spreading the outs around again this week....we are going to spend some time acknowledging Jeff's amazing 5 double outs this week....one of the outs was an impressive 102 double out....but it's not me that I'm going to praise....it's that little loud guy Andy....he didn't have a shot at an out because me and Johnny were a combined 6 for 7 at the outs....Andy was the man that made it happen....let's go back and relive why this little loud guy needs some props...our first double out of the night was set up by Andy shooting a 16 to get Jeff down to a 40 out...great leave...our next out was set up by Andy's 71...unfortunately I missed the double two but Johnny cleaned it up hitting a single two double 1....our next out was set up by Andy's 121....it left me a 47 which I hit....our next out was set up by Andy's 95 (+5) which left me a 44 which I took out...our next out was set up by Andy's 97....it left me a 102 and I couldn't ruin the best assist man in business's streak...so i hit the trip 20, single 10 double 16 to hit a nice 102 out....and to end the night....he hit a 35 (but he had a 133 the round before) to leave a 48 which I once again hit....so great job Andy getting me to outs on a night when I was hot...Ed continues his impressive double out streak by adding 2 more outs this week...Johnny and Jr each had 1 double out....so if we look at the leader board after this week we see a tight race at the top....Jeff (11), Ed (10) and Johnny (9)....Ted, Andy and Jr are so far being left in the dust with only 3 each...pick up the pace guys and start challenging for the top stop....that means you too Andy...can't be going from first to worst....
we shot a team cricket average of 1.92...Andy continued his hot night by shooting a very impressive 3.40.....Ed shot a 2.60 average...and that rounded out the over 2 club....and for those of you not paying close attention Jeff did not reach over 2.0 for the first week all season and actually posted the worst average (excluding Bill's tragic 0.60) with a very unprecedented 1.60 average...I sucky sucky this week in cricket...oh well....i'll focus on my 5 double outs....ha.....but I really do hate sucking in cricket....and by the way the "A" team of Jeff and Johnny lost for the 3rd week in a row....That is horrible considering we only lost 4 games ALL of last year...Johnny let's pull our heads out of our butts and start whipping up in Cricket like we should...if we have to go doing it by throwing some leroy darts than that's what we're going to have to do....but Andy and Jr once again post our only win for the second week in a row....
Andy led the way with 4 >=3-mark rounds...that's what I consider a nice week in cricket...good job Curran....Ed shot a very nice 3 >=3-mark rounds....good job Ed....Johnny shot 2 >=3-mark rounds...Jr and Jeff 1 >= 3-mark round each...
Andy once again led the way with a perfect 100% win rate...Jeff and Johnny were close behind with an 85.71% win rate...if only we could win cricket...haha....Jr finished with a 57.14% win rate to round out the over 50% win rate for the night...double digit wins always help with the win rates....good job...

CONCLUSION
a very nice double digit win night...I love double digit wins...a team average of 56.44, 15 tons, 4 players with double outs and only 9 missed outs....that's a great night in my book....we need to find better cricket games in the upcoming week....Andy gets a gold star tonight with a 64.61 average, a 3.40 cricket average, 3 tons, and a perfect 7-0 record...still need improvements in "under the covers"....consistency is key...after 5 weeks (1/2 of the first half) we sit atop the division with 47 total wins....let's finish the second part of this half and the playoffs just as strong....next week we play General Grant's at their place....let's get ready to keep our double digit win rate going....
