SUMMARY
well we bounced back after that bad week last week...we beat Grey's Lodge Pub 11-4...we spread the outs around very good and everyone contributed to hitting the outs...but on the other hand the averages this week were sub-par by most shooters...we need to maintain consistency...but either way double digit wins make for a very good week...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying...we had a horrendous 29 in fines owed...and a staggering 15 of them were owed for missed ins...that's not very good...the leader in the clubhouse this week and the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" was Ed "I can't hit the board" Roccia...Ed had 8 in fines...3 for under 20, 2 C-Rules, and 3 in missed ins....not what I consider a good week....Ted after his week hiatus must have felt guilty so he chucked in 7 in fines....he spread it around pretty good....1 under 20, 2 C-rules, 3 missed ins, and 1 squat at cricket...Jr, Andy and Jeff each had 4 in fines...Jr and Jeff each had a C-rule...Jeff and Andy each had an under 20...and combined we totaled 7 missed ins...Johnny had a good week with only 2 in fines for missed ins....did you notice 6 in fines for C-rules? and 6 in fines for for Under 20's....I just want you to keep this in mind...because when we get to averages you'll see how bad this affects us....
Even another week with a shooter in the 30's for an overall average??? that's completely unacceptable....Ed led this week's horrid averages with a very lame 36.08....Andy wasn't far behind with a 43.63 average....guys we have to do better than that...every on this team should be able to hit 50 averages consistently....focus on every shot of every round...
so my new favorite stat...the "under the covers" stat....if we look under the covers once again we see that EVERYONE (except Jeff AGAIN) had at least 1 game average under a 40....and this week we have an embarrassing 4 players with under a 30 average...Jr for the 2nd week in a row had the lowest game with a 22.00 average...his boobie twin Andy was on his heels with a 22.33 average...Ed had a 26.00 low average game...and Ted rounds out the "in the pathetic 20's" group with a low of 26.50....Johnny was close but just missed being "over" the covers with his 37.20 average....We gotta start focusing on averaging over a 40 each game at a minimum...and we can't be throwing games in the 20's (esp can't have 4 people in the 20's...ughghgh)...also if we look even closer we can see that 37.12% of our shots were under a 40...that number has to be in the 20% range....Everyone (except Jeff AGAIN) shot over 30% which isn't good at all....Andy led the way with 50% of his shots under a 40....not very good...Ted was on his heels with 47.83%...Jr had a 41.67%....Ed was at 40.00%....Johnny shot a decent 33.33%....guys let's focus on shooting to get those percentages into the 20's or lower...
We had 2 shooters with scores in the single digits...Ed and Ted each shot a 7.....guys when all else fails let's aim for the big fat part....let's try and make sure each round we shoot is at least over a 40 (at a minimum)...
we took a few steps backward this week ....we went from a great 5 missed ins last week to an unacceptable 18 missed ins......Ed and Jr led the way with 4 missed ins each...Jeff and Ted had 3 missed ins...Johnny and Andy each had 2 missed ins...we have to do better than that...focus on those in shots...
we did better at the out shots this week with 12 missed outs....Andy led the way with 4 missed outs...Johnny, Jr and Jeff each had 2 missed outs...Ed and Ted had 1 missed out each....I would love to see missed outs in single digits but this was a decent week....
Ed (1.57), Jr (1.63) and Ted (1.86) failed to make the 2.0 club in cricket this week...we have to shoot over a 2.0 in cricket or we will not consistently win....
Everyone finished over a 50% win rate this week....
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we had a team average of 49.33 this week...just shy of 50...Jeff led the way with a very impressive 73.63 average...Johnny was at 49.02....Jr (46.99) and Ted (46.63) round out the over 45 club...
we're going to start the "over the covers" stat this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game.......and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....I guess I picked a good week because i'm the only shooter with a low game over a 40....my lowest average game this week was 49.60...and for those of you paying close attention that is higher than everyone's overall average...not too shabby....I also was the only shooter to shoot higher than 70% of my shots over a 40...actually is was a very, very impressive 90.48% of my shots were over a 40...which translates to only 2 shots all night under a 40....i love that consistency....hopefully we'll see some new names on this list in the weeks to come....realize this stat is all about consistency...we all need to strive to be consistent shot after shot, game after game, match after match and week after week....
we finished the night with 7 tons....jeff led the way with 4 tons....Johnny had 2 tons (even though he thinks he had 3 tons...I need proof to overturn the official score card...I see a 97 shot but it didn't consist of 5 19's)....Jr had 1 ton....guys i love the high scores....keep it up...
not a great week at the in shots with only a 30.77% double in rate...Jeff and Ed led the way with 3 in shots each...Johnny and Teddy each had 1 in shot each....we gotta get back to the pace we had last week with over a 50% double in rate....
this week the outs were spread around great...Jeff led the way with 3 double outs...Johnny and Ed each had 2 out shots...this keeps them tied atop the leader board with 8 YTD double outs (2 outs better than the second place NoocH)....great job....Jr, Andy and Ted each had 1 double out last night
we shot a team cricket average of 1.95...Jeff led the way with a 2.50 average...Andy shot a very nice 2.13 and Johnny shot a 2.0 to round out the over 2.0 club....BUT we still only won 1 cricket match and Jeff and Johnny fell for the 2nd week in a row...not the way I like it...
Jeff led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Ted and Andy each had 2 >=3-mark rounds...Ed had 1 >= 3-mark round...Johnny and Jr couldn't seem to find their rhythm at the trips and both reported 0 >=3-mark rounds...
Everyone finished with over a 50% overall win rate...Andy led the way with a perfect 100% win rate...Jeff and Johnny were close behind with an 85.71% win rate...if only we could win cricket...haha....Jr finished with a 71.43% win rate...and Ed and Ted finished with a 57.14%....double digit wins always help with the win rates....good job...

CONCLUSION
a night filled with inconsistency but the overall result was a double digit win...but Grey's Lodge only had 5 shooters for most of the night...we need to get back to consistency....gotta hit the ins, outs and high shots every chance we get...the more consistent we are the better we will be in the long run....i really like the way that everyone had an out shot tonight...to be successful everyone has to participate in the wins...good job...one last note that we can't over look is that Jr busted on a 140...ughghgh....and that game eventually ended up in a loss...oh well...it would have been a great shot if we had more than 140 left....but either way great week....love the double digit wins....next week we have Joker's at home to wrap up the first half of this half....let's come ready to play...
