SUMMARY
week 5 we played Coach's at home...we start by coming to the bar and the pool team is there in what was our spot for the past 3 years...not exactly how the good ole dart team likes to start their night...but eventually they moved and things were back to normal...except for the occasional waiting why they were shooting...oh well...hopefully we don't have too many more weeks when we are both there...and the Phils lost game 2 and left almost as many men in scoring position as we did missed outs last week...speaking of missed outs...last week we had 45 and won the week 9-6...this week we had 6 missed outs and lose the week 7-8...go figure...well on a whole we had a pretty decent week...we had a team average of 51.96 and a cricket average of 2.07...we had an incredible 14 tons and only 6 missed outs...we did however have 16 missed ins which probably cost us about 3 wins...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying again this week...we had a total of 23 in fines...Ted had 6 fines and captured the prestigious "Skippy Award"....he had 4 under 20's, 1 missed in and 1 squat in cricket...Jr and Andy each had 5 in fines...Jr had 3 under 20's, 1 missed in and 1 squat at cricket...Andy had 2 under 20's, 2 missed ins and 1 squat at cricket...Johnny owed 3 in fines...1 for under 20 and 2 for missed ins...Ed owed 2 in fines for 1 under 20 and 1 missed in....Jeff owed 2 in fines for missed ins...so to recap that's 11 under 20 fines and 9 missed in fines and 3 squats at cricket fines...just seems like a lot of crappy shooting...I think we're far enough into the season that the under 20's should be significantly lower...and we must start doing better with the in shots...
Ted had the low average of the night with a measly 42.06 and was the only shooter under a 45 average...
as a team we had 36.59% of our shots under a 40...if we look under the covers once again we see that the following culprits had at least 1 game average under a 40...Ted (18.00), Jr (26.00), Andy (29.33) and Ed (33.00)...the following shooters had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Ted (59.09%), Andy (47.37%), Jr (42.86%)...That's right go look at Ted's % again...yup that means more than half his shots were under a 40...that's bad for any standard...
Ed (3) and Ted (9, 7) had scores in the single digits...I think we should start focusing on the big fat part of the numbers...
We had a disgusting 16 missed ins this week...Ed led the way with 5 missed ins...guess it's back to being the "B" anchor for you Roccia...Johnny had 3 missed ins (actually 0-3)....Jeff had 3 missed ins...Jr and Andy had 2 missed ins each...and Ted had 1 missed in...we have to do better...all these missed ins are costing us wins...
well we went from 45 missed outs last week to only 6 missed outs this week...Johnny and Jr each had 2 missed outs...Ed and Jeff had 1 missed out each....and Andy and Ted were a perfect 1 for 1 at the outs this week...
Ed had the lowest cricket average of the night with a 1.50...Andy had a 1.57 and Jr had a 1.86....not exactly some good cricket shooting by you guys this week...
Jr had 2 0-mark rounds in cricket...Ted and Andy had 1 0-mark cricket round each...
Ed, Jr, Andy and Ted each had only a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
this week we had a team average of 51.96...Jeff led the way with an impressive 68.12 average...Johnny posted a very nice 57.21 average which was helped by his awesome 4 tons...Ed makes a nice turnaround from his under 40 average last week and posts a solid 51.57 average to round out the over 50 club...Jr (45.21) rounds out the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (65.00) and Johnny (42.00) were the only shooters with all their game averages over a 40...let's not gloss over this...Jeff's lowest game average of the night was a 65.00....that's higher than everyone's total average...very consistent shooting Mr. Nooch...Jeff led the way with an awesome 95.24% of his shots over a 40...that translates to only 1 shot under a 40...Johnny shot 68.42% of his shots over a 40...that translates into only 6 shots under a 40...Ed shot 66.67% of his shots over a 40...that translates into 7 shots under a 40...
this week we had an impressive 14 team tons...Johnny led the way with 4 tons...Jr and Jeff each had 3 tons...Ed had 2 tons...Andy and Ted each had 1 ton...welcome to the ton club anchor...only took you 5 weeks....you know how I love those tons...let's try and do this on a regular basis...
Jr had the high score of the night with 140...Ed and Jeff both hit a 123...
Jr (3 @ 60.00%) and Jeff (3 @ 50.00%) led the way in double ins...Ted (1 @ 50%) and Andy (1 @ 33.33%) had the other double ins...Ed went 0 for 5...Johnny went 0 for 3...not a very good week at the in shots...
Everyone on the team had 1 double out....now that's what I call spreading it around...
Johnny shines in cricket this week with a solid 3.25...Jeff had a nice 2.40 and Ted had a 2.00 to round out the over 2.0 club...
Johnny (3 @ 75.00%) and Jeff (3 @ 60.00%) led the way with >=3-mark rounds...Ted (2 @ 40%) and Jr (2 @ 28.57%) had multiple >=3-mark rounds...Andy had 1 >=3-mark round for 14.29%....Ed didn't feel like showing up in cricket this week and had 0 >= 3-mark rounds...
Jeff and Johnny were the only shooters over a 50% win rate...they both had a 57.14% win rate...see what happens when you win cricket...

CONCLUSION
we shoot horrible last week and win 9-6....we shoot pretty good this week and lose...I'm not sure what the heck is going on...oh well....just keep trying to shoot well...and we'll let the chips fall where they may...stat wise we shot very well...we hit all our major indicators...over 50 average (51.96), over 2.0 cricket average (2.07), double digit tons (14), less than double digit missed outs (6)...still too many missed ins...and cricket was a little streaky...little improvements in either of those two areas and it would translate into wins...
Next week we play away against Prince's....
