SUMMARY
wow...not what i consider a good result week...we lost 5-10 against Cannonballs (ie CJ & Ecks)...somehow they show up with 3 different shooters than the 1st half...and hear I always thought that was a no-no in the league...so I checked the website...and low and behold the names don't match...I have a paperwork drop off meeting today so I'll get to the bottom of it...Actually for the most part we shot pretty well (except for Ed and Bill's sub 40 averages)...we had a team average of 53.64...that's the highest of the half...we only had 7 missed ins...only 10 missed outs...those numbers are low for us...cricket wasn't too good...we only won one game and had less than a 2.00 average...and we only had 11 in fines...that's the lowest of the half...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were the lowest of the 2nd half....we only had 11 in total fines...Ed was far and away the leader of winning the prestigious "Skippy Award"...Ed owed 5 in fines...1 for under 20...2 for C-rule, 1 for missed out and 1 for squat in cricket...Ted had 2 in fines...1 for missed in and 1 for squat at cricket...Johnny had 1 fine for under 20...Jr had one fine for missed in....Andy had 1 fine for under 20...Bill had 1 fine for under 20...Jeff was fine free...overall good job keeping the fines down...but next time if we are going to lose that bad we should probably pad the kitty a bit...haha....
Bill (35.00) and Ed (36.79) shot some horrendous averages this week...under 40 is completely unacceptable and probably should be 5 in fines (minimum)...
lets look "under the covers" this week...we shot 36.43% of our shots under a 40....but if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40...Ed led the crap parade with 63.16% of his shots under a 40...Bill had 54.55% of his shots under a 40...Let's stop right there for a second...Ed and Bill shoot over 50% and both have under 40 averages...see how that goes hand and hand...ughghghgghgh.....Johnny had 45.00% of his shots under a 40...Jr just missed the mark with 32.00% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Ed (23.00), Bill (23.33), Johnny (34.00), Andy (34.00) and Jr (39.00)...
We had 0 under 9's this week...much better than the 6 last week...
we had 7 missed ins this week...Jr and Jeff had 2 missed ins...Ed, Johnny and Ted had 1 missed in each...Andy was a perfect 1 for 1...Bill was a perfect 2 for 2...
this week we had 10 missed outs...Johnny had 4 missed outs...Jeff and Andy had 3 missed outs...not real good there "A" team....
Ed posts the lowest cricket average of the night with a measly 1.22...Bill only had a 1.25...Johnny only had a 1.50....
we had 4 squat shots at cricket...Ed had 2...Jeff and Ted had 1...
Bill had a 0.00% win rate...Ted only had a 16.67% win rate...Jr (28.57%), Ed (33.33%), Andy (40.00%), Johnny (42.86%)....that's a lot of people under a 50% win rate...obviously that reflected directly in our scores...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
for the second week in a row we kept averages back on track...we had a team average of 53.64....that is our highest team average of the half...Jeff led the way with week with a 67.22 average...Andy was right behind him with a very solid 66.40...Johnny posted a very nice average of 56.64....Jr (51.58) and Ted (51.48) help round out the over 50 club...very nice job with the averages...let's keep it up....
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40....Ted (44.67) and Jeff (42.00) were the only shooters with over a 40 average every game...Jeff (85.00% or 3 shots), Ted (75.00% or 5) and Andy (71.43% or 4 shots) were the shooters that had over 70% of their shots over a 40...very nice job having multiple people on this list...consistency is key...keep up the good work...
this week we had 10 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Johnny and Andy had 2 tons each...Jr and Ted had 1 ton each...Ed and Bill (remember those 2 guys with under the 40 average) weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits (and most of the time not in the mood to hit mid range double digits...haha)...
Jr had the high score of the night with a very impressive 154...Johnny had a very nice 127...Jeff was right behind him with a 125...Andy had a 117...
Jr did a good job as the leadoff man with (3 @ 60.00%) at the double ins...Bill was a perfect 2 for 2 at the double ins...good job Bill...Johnny, Andy and Jeff had 1 double in each...Ed and Ted were 0-1 each...
Ed, Johnny, Jeff and Ted had 1 double out each...Jr and Bill didn't even get an out shot...and Andy went 0-3...
Jeff led the way with a 3.13 cricket average where for the 2nd week in a row he had to carry Johnny...Ted had a 2.13 and Jr had a 2.00 to round out the over 2.0 club...
Jeff led the way with 5 @ 62.50% >= 3-mark rounds...Ted had 3 @ 37.50% >= 3-mark rounds...Ed and Jr each had 1 >= 3-mark round...Johnny and Bill didn't have any >=3-mark rounds...
Jeff was the only shooter over a 50% win rate...Jeff had a 57.14% win rate...winning cricket helps the cause...

CONCLUSION
stats say we shot much better than our record showed...over a 50 team average...and only 11 in fines...I would think that sounds like a good week...but we did have a low double out % at only 28.57%...we need to hit the outs when we get the chance...and last night we didn't have many chances...next week we play Tacony Billiards away...
