SUMMARY
week 5...what a difference a week makes...last week we got smoked 4-11...this week we do a complete 180 and win 11-4...i'm not sure if there were any shenanigans going on with the other team b/c they certainly didn't look like the team that smoked us in the playoffs last year...either way we'll take the win...maybe the Phils winning the NLCS rubbed off on us...we were loose and having fun all night...and that translated into wins...good job (I think...we may have just sealed our fate of staying in this division for ever)....
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" "dolla bills"...this week the over/under on dolla bills was 19...that would get us to 100 in fines for the first 5 games...well we hit the under...this week we only had 15 in fines...Ed and Johnny led the way with 4 fines each to tie for the prestigious "Skippy Award" this week...Ed sprayed his fines around...he had 1 under 20, 1 C-rule, 1 missed in and 1 squat at cricket...Johnny had 2 under 20's and 2 C-rules...I would probably bust your chops for throwing so many off the board but I'll refrain since you hit 4 outs...Jr (1 under 20 and 1 missed in), Ted (1 under 20 and 1 missed in) and Bill (1 under 20 and 1 C-rule) each had 2 in fines...Andy had 1 fine for a C-rule...Jeff was fine free...if my math is correct (and it usually is) that's 5 C-rules...are you f'n kidding me...try hitting the board boys...
Bill had the lowest average for the 2nd week in a row...Bill's average was 40.32...Johnny had a lackluster 41.54 average...
as team we shot 35.940% of our shots under a 40...that's actually a nice improvement over the past few weeks...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40......Ted and Johnny both had 50.00% of their shots under a 40...Jr had 44.44% of his shots under a 40...Bill had 42.86% of his shots under a 40...Andy just misses the mark with 35.29% of his shots under a 40...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Jr (28.33), Ted (32.50), Johnny (32.60), Bill (35.00), Andy (37.67) and Ed who just misses the mark with a 39.20...once again a lot of names on these lists week after week...we have to get better at hitting what we are aiming for...at least this week it seems we made a little improvement...
Jr shot a 7 for the only score in single digits this week...
for the 2nd week in a row we only had 6 missed ins...that's a very good job...Jr had 3 missed ins...Ted had 2 missed ins...and Ed had 1 missed in...Jeff was a perfect 4 for 4...and Johnny, Andy and Bill didn't even get a shot at an in...good work...
this week we had a horrendous 20 missed outs...fortunately the other team couldn't get in or out last night and it didn't hurt us...Jeff led the mess with 6 missed outs...Andy and Bill each had 4 missed outs...Johnny had 3 missed outs...Jr had 2 missed outs...Ed had 1 missed out...Ted didn't even get a shot at an out...
Ted had a horrible cricket round with only a 0.7...Bill had a 1.43 average...and Ed rounds out the under 2.0 club with a 1.60 average...
Ed, Ted and Bill each threw 1 0-mark rounds in cricket...
Everyone finished the night with over a 50% win rate...nice job with the wins...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
for the 1st time this year we hit our goal of over a 50 team average...as a team we came in with a very nice 53.01 average...Jeff had the highest average of the night with a 66.53 which I felt was low considering I had 7 tons...hmmmm...Ed finally remembers how to play darts and posts a very impressive 66.31 average...Ted shot a 58.41 average and Andy hit a 50.35 average....some nice high scores...keep it up...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff was on a tear closing in on no shots under a 40...until Andy f'd him by leaving a 51 which I shot an 11 for the setup...Jeff (90.48% or 2 shots) and Ed (81.25% or 3 shots) were the shooters to have over 70% of their shots over a 40...wait...what was that 2nd name on the list??? was that a typo??? nope I double checked and Ed showed up to play and did a fine job of hitting what he was aiming at this week...I know this may be asking alot but think you can do it 2 weeks in a row??? It wasn't that hard now was it??? maybe you should keep a personal blog every week...
this week we had 12 team tons...Jeff was banging out tons last night as he posted 7 tons...Ted had 3 tons and Ed had 2 tons...Johnny, Jr, Andy and Bill weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Ed, Jeff and Ted tied for the high score of the night with very nice 140's...Ted also had a 118...and Jeff also had one of his patented 112 ins...
Jeff (4 @ 100.00%) was perfect at the ins this week...Ed (3 @ 75.00%) did a great job at the ins...Jr had 1 double in...Johnny, Andy and Bill didn't even have a shot at an in...
Johnny couldn't hit the numbers last night but he sure was on fire with the double outs...Johnny banged out 4 double outs...a very nice night at the double out ring Johnny...Ed (maybe bizzaro Ed) hit 3 double outs...very nice Ed...don't know what you did to pull your head out of your butt this week but keep it up...Jr had 2 double outs and Jeff had 1 double out...

CONCLUSION
now that I have feeling back in my hands after doing that blog...we had a pretty decent week...it didn't hurt that the other team played like crap...at least everyone seemed to have fun and that meant we were loose up at the board...still too many missed outs...if their team was on we would have lost a lot of those games by having 20 missed outs...next week we play home again against Post Office Cafe (the old Daddy O's team)...
