SUMMARY
week 6...the Phils come into the night up 1-0 in the World Series...game 2 was on last night...would it be a distraction to our fine darters??? read below to find out...as we all know the Phils didn't fare to well in game 2...following suit the good ole ashton dart team didn't fare well either...we finished the night 7-8...and we had too many streaks of losing 3 games in a row...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying last night...this week we had 23 in total fines...and Ed and Ted (two of our biggest contributors) only had 2 fines combined...i'm sure you're all sitting on the edge of your seats...drum roll please...Andy led the fines parade with 9 fines to capture the prestigious "Skippy Award" this week...we better collect from him fast because he may single handedly pay for our first week of playoffs...Andy sprayed them around too...3 under 20's, 1 C-rule, 2 missed ins, 1 missed out and 2 squats at cricket...Jr had 5 in fines...3 for under 20 and 2 for missed ins...Bill had 4 in fines.....2 for C-rule and 2 for missed ins...Jeff had 2 fines...1 for under 20 and 1 for missed out...Ed had 1 fine for under 20...Johnny had 1 fine for missed out...Ted had 1 fine for squat in cricket...that's a lot of fines...
Jr had the lowest average of the night with a measly 39.74...i'm thinking you might be dropping from the #1 spot ot the "B" team...Andy shot a 40.53 andJohnny had a 41.93 to round out the under 45 club...
as team we shot 39.20% of our shots under a 40...we made a step forward last week and now we take 2 steps back this week...if we look deeper under the covers once again we see that these culprits had more than 30% of their shots under a 40......Andy had 58.33% of his shots under a 40...Jr had 56.25% of his shots under a 40...Johnny had 52.63% of his shots under a 40...Bill had 47.06% of his shots under a 40...Ted had 44.44% of his shots under a 40...are you f'n kidding me...that's some real pathetic shooting...3 shooters with over 50% of their shots under a 40...start aiming for the fatties...3 fatties of what you are aiming at will get you a 57 or 60 average...and the following shooters had at least 1 game average under a 40...Jr (24.50), Johnny (28.83), Bill (31.00), Andy (31.33) and Ted (36.00)...way too many of the same names on these lists week after week...we have to get more consistent...
Jr shot a 5 and a 7 in the same game...Andy shot a 9...let's think about this...9 darts shots for a total of 21 points...that comes out to about 2.33 points per dart...in case you're not good with math...that's not very good...
for the 3rd week in a row we kept the missed ins to single digits...this week we had 9 missed ins...and 6 of those missed ins were in 1 game alone...great job on the ins...Jr led the mess with 3 missed ins...Andy and Bill each had 2 missed ins...Jeff and Johnny each had 1 missed in...Ed was a perfect 2 for 2 at the ins...I guess Ed is vying for his #1 spot back on the "B" team...Ted didn't even get a shot at an in...good work on hitting the ins...
this week we had 15 missed outs...Johnny led the mess with 6 missed outs...Adny had 4 missed outs...Jeff had 3 missed outs...Bill had 2 missed outs...Ed and Jr didn't even get a shot at an out...know what that means...that's right their team didn't hit the numbers to get them a chance at even hitting an out...
Ed had the lowest cricket average of the night with a 1.50...Jeff (1.86) and Andy (1.90) round out the under 2.0 club ...
Ted had 3 0-mark cricket rounds...Andy had 2 0-mark cricket rounds...and somehow they won...
Jr had a 0.00% win rate...ok let's stop for a second and everyone think about the dean from Animal House saying to Bluto...ZERO POINT ZERO...Ed had a 16.67% win rate...and Andy had a 40.00% win rate to round out the under 50% club...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
for the 2nd week in a row we hit our goal of over a 50 team average...but don't let that fool you...we only had 2 shooters with over a 50 average...Jeff I think had a big influence on the team average by shooting a monsterous 73.39 average...I guess 9 tons will do that kind of thing...Ed for the 2nd week in a row is on the list with a very respectable 54.29 average to round out the over 50 club...Ted just misses the 50 mark with a 49.64 average...and Bil rounds out the over 45 club with a 46.67 average...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game...and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff (91.67% or 2 shots) and Ed (73.68% or 5 shots) were the shooters to have over 70% of their shots over a 40...I challenged Eddie to get on this list 2 weeks in a row...and he responded...great job Ed...see it's not that hard...keep it up...Jeff (62.40) and Ed (41.00) were the only 2 shooters to average over a 40 every game...and just for the record my low game (62.40) was higher than everyone's average...that's good stuff...well for me...not the rest of you slackers...start carrying your own weight...we need everyone to contribute...
this week we had 13 team tons...Jeff was banging out tons again last night as he posted 9 tons...that makes 16 tons in the last two weeks by Jeff...that drops the numbers quick...Ed had 2 tons...Ted and Bill each had 1 ton...Johnny, Jr and Andy weren't "in the mood" to have any scores in the triple digits...
Ed had the high score of the night with very nice 133...Ted had a 125...Bill had a 120...Jeff had two of his patented 112 ins...
Jeff (3 @ 75.00) and Ed (2 @ 100%) led the way with the double ins...Jr had 2 double ins and Andy had 1 double in...John and Bill went 0'fer at the ins...and Ted didn't even get a shot at an in...

CONCLUSION
I guess for having the Phils on we did a decent job of at least essentially splitting the night at 7-8...I'll chalk up some of the pathetic shooting I witnessed, to you idiots being distracted...either way consistency is lacking from week to week...we need to pick up the pace...unless we are playing for draft picks at this point in the season...next week we play our first away game of the season...we play Tom's Pub next week...let's see how we shoot outside of our bar...
