SUMMARY
another double digit win week...we shot very solid at times but still a few leaks we need to plug up...the beautiful thing of the night is that everyone had a double out...we spread it out very well and 4 players had 2 outs and 2 players had 1 out....it's great when everyone pitches in....also Ed and Jeff were an incredible 4 for 4 each on the double ins...on the flip side we had 30 missed outs....ouch....thank goodness they were off their game last night or that could have haunted us....but in the end "wins are wins"....and going 12-3 is a great week...awesome job...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" continued to fly...we had 16 in total fines....everyone owed a minimum of 2 last night....and this is a first....we had 4 players (Johnny, Jr, Andy and Ted) tie for the prestigious "Skippy Award" with 3 in fines each......Ed and Jeff owed 2 in fines each...if Andy didn't "sucky sucky" at cricket last night with 2 squat shots he would have had the least in fines with 1....Jr managed to chuck 3 under 20's and Jeff, Johnny and Andy owed for a missed out....hate those fines for missed outs....otherwise the fines were spread around...
we had only 1 shooter under a 45 average this week....Johnny just barely missed the mark with a 44.80....but that is still a respectable average....
so my new favorite stat...the "under the covers" stat....if we look under the covers once again we see that everyone (except Jeff) had at least 1 game average under a 40....and this week we had 1 player with at least 1 game in the 20's....I guess this could be the cause for being the only shooter under a 45....Johnny banged out a pathetic 26.0 average game...not very good....Ed (37.67); Jr (35.50), Andy (35.67), and Ted (37.17) rounded out the under 40 low game averages......We gotta start focusing on averaging over a 40 each game at a minimum...also if we look even closer we can see that 40.60% of our shots were under a 40...about the same as last week...I think we have to strive for that percentage to be closer to 20-25%....let's see how that breaks down by player...now remember a higher percentage is BAD!!!!....Ed (45.45%), Johnny (43.48%), Jr (45.83%), Andy (40.00%), Ted (40.91%) and Jeff (27.27%)...let's work to get these under 25%.....or at a minimum under 33%...looking at the details everyone (except Jeff) was over 40%....let's work on hitting higher numbers more consistently...
Well we went from 9 under 9's last week to 2 under 9's this week....an improvement but we still should have 0....Jeff and Jr each banged out a ton of ones for the infamous "5".....
Very awesome job on the ins...last week only 2 missed ins and this week an incredible 0 missed ins....that's the first time all year we went a perfect 8 for 8 at in shots....I love it...Jeff and Ed keep up the good work...and you #2 and #3 shooters take take anything for granted...you need to be ready just in case one of us misses....
Very inconsistent on the out shots this week....Jeff, Andy and Johnny each had 7 missed outs....Ed, Jr and Ted each had 3 missed outs....21 of the missed outs came in 3 games...and we lost 2 of those...fortunately they couldn't hit ins or outs last night and it didn't hurt us worse....concentrate every game on those outs....
We had 3 shooters under a 2.0 average last night...Ted (1.50), Andy (1.50), and Jr (1.89) had our under 2.0 scores...that's 3 weeks in a row for Ted...c'mon kid gotta practice some cricket...it's could be a must win game in the playoffs....Andy I'm thinking your 2 squat shots didn't help the average out....
Everyone finished the night over a 50% win rate....great job....
THE HIGH LIGHTS
We fell just short of a 50.00 team average for the 3rd week in a row....we had a 49.68 team average....Jeff led the way with a 54.30 average....Jr was closely behind with a 53.59 average...and Ed had the other over 50 average with a 50.44....Andy (48.44) and Ted (46.48) rounded out the over 45 club....
we only had 7 tons again this week...Jeff led the way with 3....Ed had 2....and Jr and Andy had 1 each...Johnny and Ted didn't feel like shooting any tons last night so they didn't...ha....
Jeff and Ed led the way with 4 double ins each...that's a perfect 8 for 8 combined...a feat never accomplished this year....incredible job...I'm giving mad props out to the both of us....
We did a great team job of hitting the outs last night...we spread it around very nicely.....Ed, Andy and Jeff each had 2 outs....Johnny, Jr and Ted each had 1 out....I love when everyone contributes with the out shots....great job....but note we still had 30 missed outs which is our high for the entire year....that translates into only a 25% double out rate....luckily they couldn't hit the double ring...but when we hit the outs we did it as a team and spread it around....so for that I'll give us some minor props....
As a team we shot a very respectable 2.19 cricket average....and this week that translated into a 2-1 record again...Jeff led the way with a very impressive 3.40 average...that's the 2nd week in a row with a 3.40 average...I love killing those cricket numbers.....I guess the 4 >=3-mark rounds helped out...Johnny (2.50) and Ed (2.25) shot great cricket games....I think we need to maintain over 2.0 averages to be successful in cricket...
Jeff led the way with 4 >=3-mark rounds...Johnny, Jr and Andy each had 2 >=3-mark rounds....Ed had 1....Ted did not have any....
Jeff, John, Andy and Jr led the night with a 85.71% win rate....Ed and Ted had a 71.43% win rate...wins are the key...great job....

CONCLUSION
Very nice week when we look at our 12-3 record....but still a lot of holes need to be filled....we had a very embarrassing 30 missed outs...but I have to say it again...when we decided to hit the outs EVERYONE on the team contributed and that makes this reporter happy....and we still have a great race for the out leader this half.....Jeff (11), Andy (10), Johnny (9), Jr (8), Ed (6) and Ted (5).... and Jr (7)....we have 3 more weeks in the regular season...who's going to step up and try and dethrone me as the "king of outs"....good luck all....you will need it....haha....
Next week we play away at Shore Road...come ready to play....let's keep up our winning ways well into the playoffs....have a great week....
