SUMMARY
week four was a losing week and we actually had double digit losses...we went 5-10...more inconsistent shooting this week led to our down fall...a team average under a 50...a shooter with an average for the night in the 30's, another shooter with a cricket average under a 1.0, 27 in fines....ughghhgh...that's some bad shooting...on the bright side we had less than double digit missed ins...we had a team cricket average over 2.0...but all in all we had double digit losses and that sucks...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying again...we matched our half high with 27 in fines this week...Jr and Ted led the way this week with 8 in fines each to share in the prestigious "Skippy Award"...Jr had 4 under 20's, 2 C-rules, and 2 missed ins...Ted had 3 under 20's, 2 C-rules, 2 missed ins and 1 squat in cricket...Ed had 5 in fines consisting of 1 under 20, 1 C-rule, 2 missed ins and 1 squat at cricket...Johnny had 4 in fines consisting of 1 under 20, 1 C-rule and 2 squats in cricket...Andy and Jeff each only had 1 fine...as a team that's a lot of fines...6 C-rules??? that's way too many...10 under 20's??? that's way too many too...
Jr led the crap parade this week with a horrendous 34.38 average...are you kidding me...can't wait to see how that plays out under the covers...Johnny had a 42.28 average and Ed had a 44.83 average to round out the under 45 club...half the team with an average under a 45...I guess you can see how that directly reflects into losses....
as a team we had 39.23% of our shots under a 40...if we look under the covers once again we see EVERYBODY had at least 1 game average under a 40....Jr (21.50), Ed (22.00), Ted (23.50)...Everyone in the B-Team shot at least one game in the 20's...not very good...Johnny (30.00), Andy (35.50) and Jeff (38.33)...everyone in the A-Team shot at least one game in the 30's...frankly a very bad night under the covers...Jr once again falls to his crap shooting of 2 weeks ago and posts 54.17% (ie more than half) of his shots under a 40...Ed had exactly 50% of his shots under a 40...Andy had 35.00% of his shots under a 40...
This week we had 4 shooters with a score in the single digits...Jr (7 & 4), Ted (6 & 2), Johnny (9), Jeff (7)...and Teddy had a 2 and 2 bucks...ughghgh...hit the board boys...gotta get rid of this leak in our games and hit solid numbers every round....
As a team we had 8 missed ins...anything in single digits is a good week...and it was actually better than just under double digit missed ins....the B-team had 6 of the missed ins and they were in the very first game of 501...so not bad...only 2 missed ins the rest of the night and they were both by Jeff...but Johnny did a good job of picking up the slack and went a perfect 2 for 2...
we had 16 missed outs this week...they were spread out pretty evenly...Ed, Johnny, Jr and Andy each had 3 missed outs...Jeff and Ted had 2 missed outs...
Johnny for the second week in a row led the way with a horrendous 0.67 cricket average this week...are you kidding me...what happened to you...you used to be a rock...2 squats on your first 2 rounds then 2 mores squats at cork...not a very good night at cricket Johnny boy....Andy shot a measly 1.33 average this week to round out the under 2.0 club...
Johnny had a skippy-like performance and shot 4 squat shots...Ed, Jr, Andy, and Ted each had 1 squat shot...hose 0-mark rounds don't help the average or the chance for the team to win...focus on what you are shooting at...
surprise surprise...nobody shot over a 50% win rate last night...Everyone had a 28.57% win rate except Andy who managed a 42.86% win rate...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
our team average slipped back down below 50 this week...we only had a 48.36 team average...Jeff led the way with a 60.39 average...Andy had a 56.19 average and Ted had a 52.06 average...we need more than half the team in the over 45 club...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game.......and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....NOBODY had a low game over a 40 this week...we should all feel ashamed...haha...Jeff led the way with 71.43% of his shots over a 40...that translates to 6 shots under a 40...I guess the old darts helped the cause a bit.....i love consistency that this stat helps show....I'm hope we start seeing more names on this list...
this week we had 9 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Andy and Ted each had 2 tons...Ed had 1 ton...Johnny and Jr weren't in the mood to hit high numbers and were the only shooters without a ton...love those tons...keep hitting them...
Jeff had the high score last night with 140 (which he hit twice)...Andy was right behind him with a 135...
Ed (4 @ 66.67%) led the way with double ins...Johnny was solid with 2 @ 100%....Jeff had 2 @ 50%....much better job at the double ins this week...the "B" team slipped a bit in the first game then came back with no misses after that...but less than double digit misses for 2 weeks in a row is at least one thing that we can be proud of...
there were slim pickings at the double outs this week...Johnny, Jeff and Ted each had 1 double out...Ted took a very impressive 80 out...
we had 2.02 team cricket average...Jeff led the way with a solid 3.0 average...Teddy shot a 2.5, Ed shot a 2.43 and Jr shot a 2.14 average...we need to start having everyone over a 2.0 average...
Jeff and Ted led the way with 4 >=3-mark rounds...Ed & Jr had 3 >=3-mark rounds...Johnny and Andy each had 1 >= 3-mark round...
NOBODY finished over a 50% win rate...terrible...just plain terrible...

501-7 -- Ed gets on...Ted chucks a 2 and 2 bucks then a 100 then an 11...love that consistency...ughhggh...yup another loss...
501-8 -- Jeff gets on...Andy hits a 135...5 missed outs...a pattern emerges with another loss...
Cricket-1 -- Ed shoots a 6-mark round...followed up by a squat shot...Ted also threw a squat shot...but somehow they manage to pull a win out because of the 7 >= 3-mark rounds...
Cricket-2 -- Johnny chucks 4 squat shots...Jeff start the night with a 5-mark then a 4-mark round...and Jeff's last round was a 4-mark round at cork...but even my solid shooting couldn't overcome the horrid darts that Johnny shot...
Cricket-3 -- Andy chucks a squat shot...Jr finishes the night with a 3-mark at cork for the win...we finish 5-10...
Jeff thanks Ed for being sober enough to remember to come to darts...and Johnny says he don't remember to come he just never leaves...
Jeff tells Jr to hit the double 2 so you can increase your average and win the game...
Johnny bitched about keeping score and Andy said he kept his score and Johnny said no you didn't you kept Jeff's score...
CONCLUSION
not much good to say here...we lost 5-10...very inconsistent shooting once again...ever hear of this word fellas??? PRACTICE???? next week we play away at Fat Pete's...come with a new improved "can do" attitude.....haha
