SUMMARY
the second week of the season and we post our first winning week...we beat Coach's 8-7 in a nice back and forth match...I don't think that any of our guys were shooting close to thier best...once again inconsistency was rampant...we had 14 missed ins, 17 missed outs, 27 in fines (not including bill's 6), our team average was only 46.57, and our cricket average was only 1.70....and don't even get me started on the "under the covers"...there's some frightening things going on there...I guess the only thing good about the night was that we had 4 different shooters take a game out...plus a winning week is a winning week...we can do better than this performance though...
THE LOW LIGHTS
"dolla bills" were flying again this week...we had 27 in total fines (and that doesn't include the 6 in fines that Bill would have owed)...Andy "the dollar bill king" Curran took the prestigious "Skippy Award" with and very high 8 in fines...let's see how those 8 in fines break down....4 under 20's, 1 C-rule and 3 missed ins...no wonder why you started to "fake" being sick...if i shot that bad i'd be sick too...but don't feel too bad you had a lot of close company...starting with Teddy "I hit a 5 and 3 bucks" Mazurek with 7 in fines...and three of them were in one round where he hit a nice fat 5 and two fat "off the board c-rules"....I haven't seen a worse round than that since skippy was on the team...so his 7 in fines break down with 3 under 20's, 3 c-rules and 1 squat at cricket...maybe you should stick to left handed??? Ed had 5 in fines (4 under 20's and 1 squat in cricket)...Jr had 4 in fines (3 under 20's and 1 squat in cricket...Jeff had 3 in fines all for missed ins...where's johnny when i need him to save me from owing dolla bills on missed ins...that new #2 guy last night just didn't cut the mustard with all that added pressure...back to anchor for you Mr Curran....
I don't have enough room on this page to list all the people that didn't hit over a 45 this week...let's start with the low man on the totem pole...Jr for the 2nd week in a row posted under a 45 average...this week he had a measly 40.71 average....either practice or switch back to your other darts...Ted had a 41.57 average....Bill had a 41.98 average...and Andy rounds out the "we can't shoot good averages club" with posting only a 42.30 average...4 shooters under a 45 average is horrible...i can't say anything else about it...you should all be ashamed....haha...
holy "under the covers" batman....as a team we had 38.57% of our shots under a 40...if we look under the covers once again we see the following culprits had at least 1 game average under a 40....Ed (21.00), Jr (22.00), Ted (23.33), Bill (23.33) and Andy (24.33)....in case you need me to spell it out for you not only did 5 shooters have a low game average under a 40...all 5 of these culprits had a low game in the 20's....are you f'n kidding me....maybe we can get that nene chic to give you guys some lessons...fasten your seatbelt here comes some more car wreck stats...Andy had 56.52% of his shots under a 40...that's no typo...more than half of his shots were under a 40...Bill had exactly 50% of his shots under a 40...Ted had 47.83% of his shots under a 40...and Jr had 41.67% of his shots under a 40....that's alot of shots under a 40 don't you think...rule # 1 for this half...STOP SUCKING!!!...hahaha...
We had 5 shooters with scores in the single digits...this doesn't come as any surprise after seeing that under the cover mess....Ed led that way with 3 shots in single digits (9, 9, 5)...Ted had 2 shots in single digits...he had a 9 and a 5...and in case I didn't tell you yet that was a "5 and 3 bucks"....Jr (9), Andy (6) and Bill (2) each had in single digits...rule # 2...don't worry about the fat part (obviously that's too difficult for you hooligans)...aim at cork and count your misses...
As a team we had 14 missed ins...the new and not improved "A" team led the way with 11 of them...Jeff and Andy each had 4 missed ins....Bill had 3 missed ins...Ed had 2 missed ins...and Jr had 1 missed in...rule # 3...if you can't hit the double ring I will need a note from your optometrist stating that the problem isn't related to your eye sight...
we had 17 missed outs this week...Andy and Bill led the way with 5 missed outs each...Jeff had 3 missed outs...Jr had 2 missed outs...and Ed and Ted had 1 missed out each...missing those outs cost us games...we need to hit the outs more consistently...what happened this week was unacceptable...we MUST do better on a regular basis...hit that double ring boys...
wow the "I suck at cricket club" has a lot of members this week...Jr and Ted led the way with a crappy 1.20 average each...Bill shot a 1.33 and Andy shot a 1.80....we gotta get those cricket averages up...gotta do better fellas...
Ted had 2 squat shots in cricket...Ed, Jr and Jeff each had one squat shot each in cricket....
Andy had the lowest win rate of the night with only a 28.57% win rate...Jeff and Bill only had a 42.86% win rate to round out the under 50% club....not very good...
THE HIGH LIGHTS
we had a team average of 46.57...that's way off our normal team pace of over a 50 team average...Jeff led the way with a 62.36 average...Ed shot a 50.52 average...only 2 shooters over a 50 this week...we need to have everyone in this stat...
let's look "over the covers" again this week...i think it's important to recognize the people that average over a 40 every game.......and those shooters that shoot better than 70% of their shots over a 40.....Jeff was the only shooter last night to have a low game over a 40...his lowest game last night was 45.67...and in case you're not paying close attention at home...that low game is higher than everyone's (except Ed) average from last night...Jeff led the way with 91.67% of his shots over a 40...that translates to only 2 shots under a 40...and here i thought i wasn't shooting very well...but only 2 shots under a 40 is pretty good shooting...Ed had 70.83% of his shots over a 40...that's 7 shots under a 40...i love consistency that this stat helps show....I'm hope we start seeing more names on this list...
this week we only had 6 team tons...Jeff led the way with 4 tons...Andy and Bill each had 1 ton...love those tons...keep hitting them...
Bill had the high score last night with 121...Jeff was right behind him with a 120...
Jeff (3 @ 42.86%) led the way with double ins... Ed (2 @ 50.00%), Jr (1 @ 50%), Ted (1 @ 100%) and Bill (1 @ 25%) had the other ins...once again we must find that double ring more consistently...
the double outs were spread out again this week...Jeff and Ted each had 2 double outs to keep them tied for the YTD lead with 3 ....Ed and Jr both got their first outs of the year...
we had a less than stellar 1.70 team cricket average this week...Ed led the way with a 2.50 cricket average...Jeff rounds out the 2.0 and over club by hitting 2.0...
Jeff led the way with 3 >=3-mark rounds...Ed had 2 >= 3-mark rounds...Jr, Andy and Ted each had 1 >= 3-mark round...it's nice to see everyone hit at least one this week...
Ed and Ted had a 71.43% win rate...Jr had a 57.14% win rate...we need everyone to be over 50% win rate...we love wins...

501-7 -- Ed gets on...Ted hits a 5 and 3 bucks...that's right 2 C-rules in one round...I really think you're a lefty....Jr hits an 84 for a nice 40 leave....Ted takes the out...but that doesn't make up for that 5 and 3 bucks mess...ha...
501-8 -- Jeff gets on...Andy hits 2 separate rounds of 17....Jeff hits a 120...Bill hits a 121....but still not good enough as we lose and go to 6-6....
Cricket-1 -- Jr and Andy lose....Jr has a squat shot at 19's...
Cricket-2 -- Ed and Ted win...Ed hits a nice 7-mark round (1-20, 3-18, 3-17)...Ed also hits a squat at 15...Ted has a squat at cork and 16...but Ted also had a 4-mark round...
Cricket-3 -- Jeff and Bill win...Jeff had 3 >=3-mark rounds...Jeff had a squat at cork...Bill and Jeff hit back to back 2-mark rounds at cork to win the game...
Andy states that he owes $5 and only played 3 games...
Jeff reminds Andy that double 3 is the only double he doesn't have to tippy toe to reach...
Jr said Target gift cards are paying for the dollar bills....
Ted said Jeff choked on a 32 out...
Bill asks Ed why did he move b/c he was right there...

CONCLUSION
not much to say that already hasn't been said above...at least we had a winning week...and we did it by shooting some of our worst team darts of the year...Next week we play CJ Mulligans away...let's get refocused and ready to play next week...
